One of our reasons for staying was because of an early morning flight. It was a good choice. However, the price of the shuttle trip was not mentioned on the website or while booking and as our experience has been of complimentary transfers we were disappointed to be told on arrival of the GBP3.50 charge.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and I felt I had been for a whole week it was so refreshing to be looked after so well there was absolutely nothing to improve on. Our special mention would have to be for Mr Craig Paterson the excellent staff member who checked us in and provided so much help.
I would recommend your hotel to anyone. Many thanks

After checking in the member of reception staff enquired about dining. I said I have a few allergies so it is tricky. The reception staff made no comment. It would have been nice for the staff member to say something along the lines 'I'm sure we can accommodate this if you'd like to talk to a member of staff we will see how we can help you' rather than no comment at all.
Also I was on crutches. I entered the bar and ordered a drink. The bar staff member was fiddling with bottles and it would have been nice for him to at least acknowledge I was there rather than not even turning around. I ordered a drink and I had to ask a customer next to me to carry my drink to the table as the bar member didn't ask if he could help. Ok, this wasn't a problem however it would have been nice for the bar tender to ask and to notice that I needed help.
Again I'm trying not to criticise just saying what would have made a difference to me.
