we have stayed at this hotel many times (not business) and always enjoyed the experience. The executive rooms by modern standards are on the small size but are clean and have been recently decorated. One gripe is the towels, you are very restrictive with allocation and I need to ask for a further supply, perhaps the lady forgets there are two in the room not one. The breakfasts are very good and there's plenty to keep you going all day.

Have just spent three 'Reward Nights' at Holiday Inn, Filton whilst enjoying a city break in Bristol. The decision to stay 'out of town' proved to be wise, and not just for the complimentary parking.
Warm and friendly greeting upon arrival, with loads of good visitor advice and tourist literature to hand.
Very clean double room, with sofa bed already made up and ready for my daughter. The room was kept spotless and well stocked throughout our stay and was a pleasure to return to each day.
Being a novice swimmer, my young daughter found the 1.2m deep pool a bit intimidating. It doesn't have a shallow end, only wide stairs leading down into the water, and it isn't a particularly large pool.
Restaurant food is excellent quality and reasonably priced, but what stands out is the standard of service throughout the whole hotel. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and genuine are words that can easily be used to describe my experiences of the people here. I would especially like to thank Richard, Brogan and Paige in the restaurant - they showed both professionalism and a genuine interest in what they did and could not have been more helpful. However, my sincere thanks are extended to all of those whose names escaped me - both 'in front of house', and those similarly hardworking individuals behind the scenes.
I can only speak from my own experiences but, as a regular IHG brand user, this hotel is one of the better ones and well worthy of consideration when looking to stop in the Bristol area.

I know what to expect from the Holiday Inn. Unfortunately one of those expectations is that the room service at Filton will be very slow. It's happened a number of times now and although the Duty Manager was very attentive and helpful when involved, the whole thing was very avoidable and disappointing. Not a great end to a long day.
