This hotel was in a great location for my business travel. The room rate was reasonable and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the walls and doors are a bit thin so you will hear other guests and be heard. If you are lucky enough to get a high room on the west side you will get a great view on downtown Calgary and the Rocky mountains in the background.

Generally the stay ok.
The hot tub was not hot.
The staff didn't acknowledge I was a platinum member while they did for the guy in front of me, but that is a minor nitpick. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was being renovated so the food is a N/A.
It seemed there was some issue with the plumbing

Pillows are too small, room was noisy (heater, next door sounds) and the hot water shut off while IN THE SHOWER!!!

I was in Calgary on business and I arrived on October 21st, late at night. My luggage was lost by the airliner so I had nothing! I went to the front desk to explain my situation and they immediately began to accommodate me with toiletries that would get my through.
They were also attentive to my lost luggage letting me know that it had not arrived. As much as I was at the front desk, the ladies were always very friendly and accommodating. They made me feel better by the warmth of their smiles.
When my luggage did arrive, rather than disturb me early in the morning, they called about six to let me know that my luggage had arrived.
The wait staff was the best I had encountered at a Holiday Inn and I travel a lot. Thanks for making this trip the best it could be.

Bed was old & uncomfortable, shower & taps leaked, toilet ran all night. Although this was fixed the next day I should have never been checked into this room. With my special rate through CPSA I would have expected better value. This hotel has been renovated lately & the pricing structures are of a high end hotel. This hotel is definitely NOT high end. My shower stall must have been 15 - 20 years old & the bed was not much different. I stay in hotels on average of 150 nights a year. This is the poorest valued hotel I have stayed in in all my years of travel. Very disappointed!
