Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fair price and service We had a great time at this Holiday Inn. The only thing that I didn't like much was the area where it was located, it fell a little bit unsafe. The lobby doesn't look up to date too. In general, perfect place to spend a couple of night when you travel to NY city. I'll come back for sure. 03 November 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a great Day or Stay The hotel room was neat and clean like always. The housekeeping staff always seems to work hard at this location. The GM however could benefit from some sensitivity training. My stay was to recover after a night in the ER. I was told to relax and stay off my feet as much as possible. After the first night I had called down to extend my stay an additional day (the previous night was already paid in full, Cash).. I ask the front desk if I may please make the payment for the second night by 3:30 p.m. when a family member was able to come by after work to check on me and take care of the room charge. The general manager how I spoke to was rude, harsh, and completely oouttalinel. I was told that I would not be allowed to stay in the room until 3:30 even though I was extending my stay. Then when I explained I was in pain from my hospital stay I was told to come to the front desk and wait in the lobby. My room being in the farthest location away from the lobby and on the second floor with no elevator. I was in tears crying but the time I reached the desk. The first thing the GM said to me "can you calm down, your upsetting the other guest". I was in a lot of pain and what about the guest crying in pain right in-front of you. The only decent thing she did was had me a bottle of water. I told her I was waiting for my family to bring me the payment for the second night, this was around 1pm.. She than said to me " I'm going to need to speak to your mother if I'm going to allow you to stay here" My jaw hit the floor, how dare you treat anyone like this. I met my family made my points & cash reservation with IHG. when I returned to the hotel and gave them the conformation number they told me that reservation was cancelled. I literally hung up with reservation as I walked up to the desk... I had to call guest relation, they said my reservation was just fine. they called the hotel and after a long conversation I was allowed to check-in. Not before being ask to fallow someone in to the restaurant to discuss something. He began to tell me his name was Nick and he was the OWNER of the hotel, he had said this was a corprate hotel and there better not be anymore trouble from me...I said no sir I haven't nor will cause any altercation. The next day I left... something needs to change in a company that treats loyal gust in such a manner. 02 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Customer Service From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, the gentleman who assisted us gave us excellent customer service. He listened to our questions and was able to help us with all of our needs. He even went out of his way to assist us when the computer in the business center was down--something he didn't have to do. I wish I can remember his name, but unfortunately I am unable. All I can remember is that he was very kind and helpful and made us feel welcome and cared for. Thank you. 01 November 2014
