Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good service but poor hotel Staff was friendly but hotel is very dated. The entire hotel smells of cigarette smoke and the hallways are dark and dirty. The room itself was clean but in desperate need of updating. The fitness center equipment is old and offers very little in terms of an effective workout. And the lights kept going out as they are on timer. The only redeeming quality about this hotel is the pool, although it overlooks a major road so is very noisy. I would not stay here again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service I was traveling with my young son on his first trip to a hotel with no other adults, so I was a little concerned about how the visit would go. It went well thanks to a comfortable room and great service. He managed to fall and scrape himself on the sidewalk because he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking but the front desk saved me. They had plenty of bandaging options and we were able to continue on with our evening and get him to bed. Speaking of bed, the bed was extremely comfortable. We only stayed a night, but I wouldn't have minded staying longer if I still needed to be in the area. August 26, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Recent Stay Compared to other Holiday Inns I have stayed in before, this has got to be the worst. If this had been my first experience then I would not be looking to stay in one again. I have used the Holiday Inn in Lafayette a couple of times and the difference between that hotel and this is beyond compare - one is a great place to stay and the other is in NJ. Serious investment is needed to make this a better experience but it looks like they get full due to location, so why try harder? August 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs some TLC - average hotel I must start by saying although the hotel is very average, the staff is very pleasant and professional. The rooms are average but clean. The hallways are pretty bad. They need some rehab. The location of the hotel is interesting. The road that the hotel is on is a one way street that is essentially the off ramp of I95 and is a little hard to navigate. If you stay at this hotel for a few nights, you sort of get to know the correct streets and turns to make to enter the hotel. This hotel seems like an older hotel so it is a sprawling hotel with not many floors and the hallways go on forever. No elevator to the second floor either. I didn't personally have a problem with the hotel not having an elevator but in today's hotel experience, you would expect an elevator. August 19, 2015
