Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Holiday Inn - suprisingly quiet- but follow DIRECTIONS from A55 Excellent service all around, the reception staff ordered us a taxi for our wedding attendance after we had been talked through how to get back to the Holiday inn after a series of wrong turns. This is a point I think worth mentioning - the entrance into the complex area which houses the hotel. We drove right past the Holiday in turn off the first time we went in form the motorway, partly because it had several signages on the same wall. I think the Holiday Inn should have a sign which points to the Holiday inn. Reception said we were certainly not the first to experience difficulties. 29 July 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Nice rooms, noisy location Rooms good, but very hot when we stayed - air con not working and nearby A55 road noisy. I was given smoking rooms when I first booked, actually wanted non smoking. I contacted the hotel beforehand and they managed to swap one smoking room with someone who didn't want a non-smoking one. 29 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and excellent service The hotel is very handy for our journey to and from the Irish ferry at Holyhead. Very clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. Importantly, the hotel welcomes pets and the additional charge is very reasonable 26 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Noise spoilt an otherwise enjoyable stay The hotel was clean and the staff attentive. Quality of breakfast was excellent. Room smelled of tobacco smoke upon arrival but this was dealt with by placing an ioniser in the room whilst we were out for the evening. A good night's sleep was virtually impossible due to the constant drone of an air conditioning unit below our guest room window. 24 July 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little disappointed. We were a little disappointed with the accommodation. The room in which we stayed smelt of stale smoke and there was a similar smell in the corridors. The layout of the bedroom wasn't particularly comfortable as there was very little room between the bed and the wall on one side. We were arriving back at the hotel late in the evenings and ate there on all 3 nights. The food was good and the restaurant staff were very helpful and polite. This was the only positive we could take from our stay. Unfortunately I would consider other options when seeking out accommodation in the future. 23 July 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff friendly & helpful The weather was particular warm during our recent stay and unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working. We had little sleep and as the A55 passed close to the hotel opening the windows was not an option. On mentioning this to the desk at checkout they were most apologetic and since have advised that engineers have been working on the issue. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a good meal. 19 July 2014
