Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mid week This property is older, but I expected better value at this prime location. The tv system is sub par. The mirrors in the bathrooms are not high enough fo 5' 10" or taller people. The room A/C units needs 4 way adjustment. The value of breakfast is way out of touch with reality, some of your properties have free breakfast. On tiis visit thr TV system experienced some type of failure, but no notice was sent to guests. You had to ask what is with continuous shark vaccum adds on all channels, no local channel access!!! Poor customer service. When has an area VP visited t his property? May 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Hotel and Good Food I travel frequently to Miami for Business. This hotel is in close to proximity to both Miami University and downtown Coral Gables. I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and the rooms are excellent, both spacious and clean. On my last few visits, Michelle has been at the front desk has assisted me at check-in. She is courteous and always has a smile and a positive attitude! This hotel also serves breakfast, which is convenient to grab a quick bite before heading out for the day. May 4, 2016

The wedding I was in town attending booked groups of rooms at this hotel and I'm glad they did. It was a short weekend, but I enjoyed the comfort of the hotel while there. May 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Achieved Spire Elite Status at Holiday Inn Coral Gables alone My wife and I love coming to this hotel so much we've achieved Spire Elite status just by coming here. We've had many trips here for several years and have always had a terrific experience no matter who helps us out. For our recent stay starting 2/26/16, it was Michelle and Florencia who checked us in with a friendly and professional manner. Our original stay was for 5 nights but, my wife was enjoying the visit so much she stayed behind for 3 more nights. They made that change quickly and easily for us. We sleep so well here and my wife always raves about the beds and pillows and keeps saying that she has to find out where they get them so we can get them for our home. The hot buffet breakfast is convenient and the staff very attentive and friendly. The housekeeping staff is always very polite and friendly. Dinner at the on premises Toucan's restaurant and lounge is convenient and delicious as well. You can relax by the pool that is surrounded by several varieties of lush palm trees. Watch TV in the workout room while using dumbbells, a universal weight station, and treadmills. There is something about this hotel and their ability to attract and retain talented staff. Looking forward to our next stay in May!! May 3, 2016
