Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by escape for a event on booking.com this hotel was rated as 7.2 which i feel was a very unfair score. I believe that a score of 8.4 would be more suited. I only have one constructive view and that is the breakfast was of a good quality but the servery baked the breakfast.the staff were great plesant and helpful but i think the servery with its heat lamps let them down. The staff made this hotel very plesant 10 out of 10. it has to be remember that this is a business hotel but i think it was refreshing for the staff to have holiday people there so they could use there service skills in a different way. I would recomend and stay there again June 25, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and out of date facilities I was shocked at how run down this hotel is. On the stair carpets there is black masking tape on on the edge of the steps. The room decor is dated and shabby. You have to leave the shower running for ten minutes before any hot water comes through. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel is in a bit of a state. I left at 5.30 in the morning just to get out of the place and I would never consider staying here again. June 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Updated review The last time I did a review on this hotel I was quite scathing about the experience; there are two ways the hotel could have reacted, either by ignoring the critique or by reacting to it. I am glad to say they have reacted amazingly. I have made several visits since my complaint and every time I have had a nice room (hopefully when refit completed every room will be nice and they will no longer feel the need to ensure special attention), the staff have been exceptional and the food in the restaurant has been have a much higher standard than my first visit. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay We enjoyed a lovely relaxing nights stay at the hotel and enjoyed the pool and steam room, after reading some reviews about the hotel being tired and dated I was pleasantly surprised, the hotel was bright and clean and the room very comfortable. If I had to be negative then I was slightly disappointed with the fact that I had paid for an executive room as it was our first anniversary and the little touches I was expecting ie. robes and chocolate in the mini bar were not there June 9, 2015
