Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Standardhotel Standardhotel, welches eine Renovierung nötig hat. Personal ist Freundlich und das Frühstücksbüffet für amerikanische Verhältnisse ist überdurchschnittlich. Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, aber der Blick auf parkende Auto und ein Autohaus ist nicht gerade der Knaller. Ist aber der Lage des Hotels geschuldet. July 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Take me again, Grandma! Our stay at the HI Countryside IL was prompted due to both business and pleasure. The pleasure was bringing grandchildren along, although hesitant to do so. Yet, the hotel staff gave the youngsters a warm welcome and the pool area with its children/adult-sized pool gave us all interactive activity. For breakfast and dinner, the wait staff was eager to serve and the food/menu selections accommodated each need and palette. In a small way, we were part of a larger family while also having our business needs accommodated. July 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rude treatment from desk clerk I made this reservation on behalf of a relative who was arriving on short notice due to a death in the family. The Holiday Inn website would not allow me to make a reservation for check-in by a third party, even though I was requesting this from inside my own secure Priority Club account with credit card on file. I called the 800 number, and they agreed to make the reservation, but in order to confirm, they had to email an authorization form to me, which I had to print and fill out by hand, and then fax to the hotel. I didn't have a fax machine, and so I called the hotel desk to find a workaround, such as scanning and emailing the form. The hotel representative was rude and unaccommodating. Eventually I had to ask another relative who was staying at the same hotel to cover the bill on his credit card. This was all unacceptably complicated and bureaucratic, especially considering the circumstances of bereavement and limited time. I am a longtime Priority Club member, and I'm really not sure that I ever want to stay at any holiday inn again. July 27, 2015
