Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Christmas Party Night This was the first time that I have stayed in a Holiday Inn and I must say it was a wonderful experience - from check in to check. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly efficent lady who explained all aspects of the hotel to me. When reaching our room it has the most nauseating smell in it, this was rectified immediately and we were given another room without any hassle. This second room was much nicer. As this was a christmas party I was expecting the usual - bland over cooked food and was pleasantly surprised as this was not the case. The food was tasteful and well presented. The plates were cleared away very efficiently. The bar staff were also very efficuent and there was never a queue of more than 2 people. The only thing that let this experience down was the less attentive breakfast staff - but this was not all of them so we wouldn't let this put us off. 17 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant staff, and comfy beds My mum and I come a few times a year for shopping trips and total relaxation, and this is the perfect place. The staff are brilliant they help you if you need it and make you feel at home, even when they are busy they find the time to have a little chat with you. The friendliest hotel we have ever been too, and the comfy beds and pillows just help towards a relaxing stay. 11 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff A hotel I have stayed at several times now when attending a trade show at the nearby Ricoh Arena. This hotel has everything you need, but is starting to need a re-fresh e.g. carpets wearing thin in places. It is just starting to look a little tired. That being said, the room was clean, the bed comfy and the water hot. Breakfast selection was good as were the staff who could not have been more helpful (especially as I had left my phone charger at home - they found me one in lost property and lent it to me). The non-smoking policy needs reinforcing and smokers should be encouraged away from the front door. But, all in all this was fine for what I needed. 01 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant staff We stayed here for 2 nights, and were meeting friends. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and put our friends in a nearby room when asked. We were also granted a late check-out. We have stayed here before, and will again. 27 November 2014
