Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hotel good, but staff really make it We use the IHG chain and specifically Holiday Inn on a regular basis and find most of them to be a pleasant stay. Some of them though are a cut above the rest. Our stay at Coventry over two consecutive week ends was an example of this. All the usual facilities were of a good standard, but the real quality is in the staff. Even with different staff shifts and several special functions to put them under pressure the staff still gave good friendly service. They work well as a team. It was most evident at breakfast when they most busy and as breakfast is one of my favourite meals it started each day in the best way possible. 03 September 2014
