We slept like rocks on very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. The breakfast offered in the morning could use some improvement but the person working there was very nice. The value for the room was very fair and we hope it stays in this price range after renovations are complete. There are many stores and restaurants very close to this property. March 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleasant Stay Enjoyed a nice few days in this hotel. Room was nice and clean. Restaurant was being re-done, so breakfast in the ballroom was basic but free. Roger and Samantha helping in the mornings were particularly helpful, assisting with information for local attractions and going above and beyond with service at breakfast. We arrived early from our flight and had no problem checking in early - around 11am. March 17, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of PBS on TV We arrived with plenty of time to watch the FINAL episode of Downton Abby, only to find there was NO PBS available at this Holiday Inn in Danbury, CT. We were visiting relatives in the area, and have stayed at this hotel previously. The woman at the front desk tried to help, even contacting her manager, but couldn't.. Evidently, this facility uses a satellite service for TV reception, and PBS is not one of the stations. I was surprise and very disappointed, as it has been around since 1969. You may also want to alert your guests about the construction going on next door, which starts promptly at 7AM - looks like they're dismantling the hill behind this facility. Finally, if you are going to give some recognition to IHG Rewards Club members, I think you could do better than having your staff ring the cowbell on the counter. March 11, 2016
