The Holiday Inn Scotch Corner has been very nicely refurbished and our room and bathroom were lovely, although a second armchair would have been very welcome. Unfortunately we were situated above the function rooms where a late Christmas Party with disco was being held. The noise was loud and continued until 1. 30am. As we were booked into. a superior room I did not feel that this was acceptable. On the plus side the staff were very pleasant and friendly 16 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Power cut Due to a power cut in the middle of the night there were appliances going on and off, eventually the power cut completely and there was no attempt to inform me or my companion, no breakfast and they still have not sent my final billing account. Nice place otherwise 15 January 2015

Food in the restaurant is usually of a high standard. My husband specifically likes their pizzas and he is not normally a pizza person! 07 January 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place, spoilt by incompetent Car Parking management This is a great place , loved it and will be back. However some 2 weeks after my stay I recieved a very strongly worded letter from "Parking Eye", the car park "management" company, claiming I was illegally parked and fining me £100. I have robustly rejected this and complained to the hotel, as the "management" company appear to be unable to check records or react to correspondance, and insist on persuing me. The hotel are not pleased about this harrasment, and have informed me they are taking approppriate action. Watch out for these clowns, they spoil an otherwise plesant stay. 03 January 2015
