I have stayed in Holiday Inn before and expect the stay to be predictable in terms of service and comfort. I found the service very good in the hotel, responsive stuff, very helpful with getting me a taxi in a very busy time and at short notice. It was nice to be greeted with a complimentary box of chocolate in the room. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from, very tasty scrambled eggs and enough for my vegan daughter to choose from. However, the hotel building is the oddest I have ever been to. It looks like it was extended at a later stage or something, it's like a maze where you have yo go up and down to get to your room, there is no logic in room numbering and not enough signposting to rooms and lifts. Also the building and furnishings are very dated. Having said that the room was very spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and TV was high definition with great picture quality. Unfortunately we could not use wi-fi, as though it was connected it just would not work, so we gave up. SO, overall good experience, but is not in the list of my favorite hotels.

The food quality was good but a bit of extra heat for the pre cooked meals would help as some things were not quite hot, other than that all was very enjoyable. I have to say again all the staff I came into contact with were extremely polite helpful and friendly.
