Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoy my stay Enjoy my stay very much, especially I can sleep well. The room is very clean. Breakfast is very nice. Check-in/out is speedy. I have some issues with my credit card, but the front desk staff is able to help me so that I can still pay with my credit card. Pillow is on the soft side, even the firm pillow. May 8, 2016

Hotel nur wenige Gehminuten zur S-Bahn entfernt Der Saunabereich sowie die Sauna´s selber sind leider etwas klein Der Schwimming Pool ist OK April 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sehr freundliches Empfangspersonal, unbrauchbare Matratze - Personal war beim Empfang sehr freundlich, bemühte sich meinen Zimmerwunsch zu erfüllen und tat dies auch - Große Fitness- und Poolfläche, aber leider häufig durch Kinder belegt. (Positiv: sehr großzügige Öffnungszeiten.) - Sauberkeit war gut in den sichtbaren Bereichen (Mängel: Staubflusen nach Verschieben des Nachttisches, einige undefinierbare Flecken auf den oberen Badfliesen, größter Mangel: Fön wies unschöne Schmutzspuren auf, die aufgrund seiner Beschaffenheit leider entstehen, vielleicht sollte man mal an ein neues Modell denken) - Gute Anbindung an ÖPNV (Straßenbahnhaltestelle auf kurzem Fußweg von 1-2 Minuten zu erreichen) - Absolutes Minus: eine viel zu weiche Matratze (auch die Kissen waren eher ein Hauch von nichts, unter einem "festen Kissen" verstehe ich etwas anderes) - Die Faltung des Toilettenpapiers und der Kosmetiktücher ist mir generell ein Dorn im Auge. Das ist vollkommen überflüssig. Hier wurde das erste Kosmetiktuch gefaltet, aber der Rest so weit in die Packung geknüllt, dass man jede Menge zerknüllter Tücker direkt unbenutzt entsorgen konnte. - Personal beim Check-out dürfte gern freundlicher sein, da man dies als allerletzten Eindruck mitnimmt. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Below the HI standard The appearance, facilities, and guest rooms of this hotel could be much better than many other Holiday Inn hotels in Europe. However, the services they offered are far from the HI standard. The hotel staffs are friendly but they could be better trained to actively provide services and information to the guests: e.g., 1. not take phone calls when doing check-in, especially when there is only one reception staff on duty but more than three guests waiting in the queue 2. give some recommendations for the guests to do when they need to wait one hour for the room (which was not ready at 14 pm) instead of just simply saying our official check-in time is 15 pm. 3. actively providing important information instead of always waiting for being asked. E.g., about parking (outdoor hotel parkplatz: free, Underground garage: 11€/day) , breakfast (19 € p. P./day if it is not included in the original booking), pool/fitness (underground, guests have to first go upstairs to the reception asking for the locker key and towels), restaurant (on weekends guests have to eat in the bar area for dinner because the restaurant is mainly closed, kids eat free), city map, IHG membership benefits (welcome points or drinks for the elite members), ... I've expected to be well informed with these basic but important information when being checked in. Unfortunately, everything I listed above, have not been introduced at all and the IHG membership stuff was completely ignored at that moment. Fortunately, I learned and got what I need by asking and reminding them. March 24, 2016
