All the staff whether they be bar staff, gym/pool staff or breakfast staff are always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast room staff in the morning were also very friendly and willing to assist with any queries. Recommended if staying in the area. November 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay Excellent service when checking in. Good nights sleep and staff were polite and understanding of my needs. Only downside was the restaurant. Food quality was good but service was not as professional as the rest of the hotel. I don't think it was intentional but little things such as knowing in advance what is not on the menu and asking the guest to try the wine before pouring a full glass etc does help. Overall though all the stay was very nice and made my visit enjoyable so much so that I have booked again. October 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff were excellent I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 5 years and so look forward to returning. The hotel has undergone refurbishment and the rooms are now very clean and bright. Bathrooms are wonderful, especially the executive rooms Having said that, the best part about this hotel is the staff. The check in / reception staff are so friendly and nothing is ever too much. The restaurant has the usual Holiday limited and boring menu and the seats are very low and uncomfortable. But again the staff are excellent with requests to change menu combinations met with ease. I use the pool and find the refurbished changing rooms very good. The only down side to this hotel is the parking. As the spa / pool is available to the public, arriving between 5 and 7pm is a nightmare for parking with the health club members parking all over the place! Added to the fact that the hotel often has an influx of coaches and British Gas use the hotel for training seminars, parking can be very challenging at times. Overall a lovely warm comfortable and friendly hotel I look forward to my next visit. October 23, 2015
