Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stuck during Northeast Storms but Awesome Experience As a result of the mess in the northeast due to weather, I was unable to get out and ended up staying for four nights at the Ft. Meyers Holiday Inn. Here's a rundown of the big pluses (and the few negatives...# The front desk staff was extrememly helpful and courteous- even with the craziness that went on with numerous guests checking in and out at wierd times. I opted one night to try the chef's special and it was THE BEST hotel meal I've eaten in at least 5 years #shrimp and ribs- both cooked to perfection#. For a late lunch I had the chilli which was only so-so. Service for food was ok but not stellar late at night. The bartender in the evening was very sweet- but more importantly, she made a knockout drink that was extremely tasty if you like fruit juices mixed with your alcohol #forgot the actual name but was called something-bomb). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My "Go To" location Whenever I'm in Fort Myers, I think of this Holiday Inn as my 'go to' location. It's a well run operation and the rooms are clean and quiet (OK, I typically get a 5th floor corner room, so I can't comment on other locations on lower floors). Front desk staff seems to always be on their game and facilitate quick check-ins and check-outs. 31 December 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Leaving the Sunny South to Head Back to Detroit We stayed at this hotel for a whopping six hours before heading back to the frigid north of Detroit - ugh! We had a very early flight so we stayed at this location. Our accommodations were very nice for our short stay. We especially enjoyed the evening fire pit outdoors in the warm balmy air to visit with friends. Check-in and check out went smoothly as well as our 4:20 am wake-up call. The shuttle promptly took us to the airport at 5 am. The room was very comfortable. There were some noises coming from the heating system that kept my husband awake, but I slept right through it. I would gladly return to this hotel again. It was nice to have shuttle service to and from the airport. 11 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Stay, poor WiFi From check in to check out, the staff was great. The hotel and room keep very clean, Food was very good. Excellent bartenders and wait staff. The meeting area was kept clean and plenty of snacks available at the breaks. My only complaint is the WiFi. On a scale of 1-10, its about a 4. For a convention and meeting center, its pretty poor. It's almost 2014, not 1998. I ended up using the hot spot off my phone to get things done, 27 November 2013
