During the weekend of January 16-18 us and our hotel guests stay at the Holiday Inn Airport for our wedding weekend. We were able to work out a contract that included our guests a discounted rate, breakfast, shuttle to and from the reception and a free room for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding. When my guests tried calling and booking the rooms there were problems finding the room blocks and some guests were even informed that the hotel was sold out prior to the cutoff date of the room block. On the week of the wedding we were told that they would only provide one shuttle one trip that held 10 people for our 10 room room block. Two of our guest rooms didn't receive the breakfast tickets. To top it all off I set up a room for my husband the night before the wedding and made a note that it would be for him and they charged both of us for the night prior to the wedding and him for the night that should have been free. The hotel is nice if you are by yourself traveling. It was clean and presentable but I wouldn't wish my worse enemy for the service due to poor communication we received.

This will be my new choice of stay when coming to the Fort Myers, Florida area from here on out. It was clean, friendly, and professionally staffed. Angelica was awesome at the front desk.

January 5th we were greeted by Wendy who was very helpful, then checked into our second floor lakeview room, very untidy, toe nails, hair on the floor, not vacuumed , dust on the desk and lamps, smudges on the mirror, very disappointing to say the least. Complained to Wendy, who sent up the Head Housekeeper who acknowledged the noted failures to clean and agreed to move us to a new room. Moved to a fourth floor lakeview room which was nominally better. Not vacuumed properly, stain on the bedcover, and similar issues with the mirror, Head Housekeeper offered to have the staff come clean it again! Wow two rooms on two separate floors having issues, unlucky us! Wendy felt so bad she gave us complimentary breakfast for the next morning! Not necessary but appreciated nonetheless!
Later that evening we were helped by Nate, Shuttle driver in making/finding us a cup of coffee as the blonde waitress was rude and behaved poorly and was dismissive in her actions, and did not want to assist us with a cup from the restaurant, complained to her Supervisor but no feedback on outcome was received back. I became a recent IHG Club member, (means nothing) after seeing this property on the web, and thought it looked good we have found that the information and description of being a newer property, with high customer satisfaction that it would be time to give the Holiday Inn a try, regrettably our bad luck I guess, wrong place at the wrong time. Property has so much to offer and with only two shining lights Wendy and Nate, I think the future will be dim! I travel frequently and hope that if I stay at another Holiday Inn again I do not experience the same dissatisfaction. #1 and the #2 chains are close by maybe they might be a better choice!

Disappointed that the large hotel only had 2 service/luggage carts. Hotel was sold out and also had large groups of hockey teams staying there. No excuse for a hotel of that capacity to only have 2 luggage carts. My husband and I are both a little handicap and we had to make several trips to get everything to our room. Meanwhile the 2 luggage carts were loaded and sitting with no one around them that appeared to be associated with them. Maybe they were in the bar?? Who knows!! It took us approximately 25 minutes to register and get things to our room, park the car ...and the loaded carts never moved! What a discrace. I made a suggestion to the front staff that they should make the owners of the loaded carts to either use them or unload them. They just stared at me with no reply ... nor did they offer any solutions. On the positive side ... it was a nice surprise to receive champaign and a treat at midnight on new years eve at the outside firepit. I would recommend that corporate handle the need for additional luggage carts for that large hotel!! Incidentally, we have stayed there before and don't remember the carts being an issue.

This hotel is perfect! It has a great location with shuttle service to the mall across the street. The staff was more than friendly as well. It had everything I needed for my 2 day stay. I highly recommend to everyone! I forgot to mention it had a rental car service right on the property with great rental prices! I went to the beach for the day for $39..Great Value all the way around :)

We had a large group staying at the hotel for a hockey tournament and the staff was excellent in servicing the parents as well as the kids and made it fun to hang out at the hotel. I was very impressed with the hotel and quality of service.
