The location was great for visiting our family members in the Gainesville area. The breakfast was a treat for the family and a great start for the day allowing planning for the rest of the day. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No internet, riding elevators like thowing dice I arrived in the midst of a huge event, I could not make it to the desk due the the enormous number of congregants in the lobby. I was not recognized as an Ambassador Gold Member, I had to request an upgrade. It was reluctantly granted. The internet did not work the entire time of my stay. I was stuck in the elevator twice and luckily escaped by my own efforts.The interior of the property is tired and worn, my shower had mold in it. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place. The vending machines were not working. We usually stay at HIE and are used to the paper being delivered to the door. Also the bill is usually slipped under the door on the day of checkout. But otherwise it was a nice stay. July 24, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OVERALL POSITIVE, BUT RECOMMEND SOME UPGRADES The staff at this hotel was great. I have no complaints about them whatsoever. Our room wasn't ready when we got there, even though it was after the check-in time, and they provided us with something to drink while we waited. The hot breakfast was good and the staff there were also more than helpful. The room however was just so-so. It seemed clean, at least the bed and bathroom seemed clean, but the chair in that room needs to be put out with the trash. There were stains all over it and I would not dream of sitting in it. Also, the furniture needs to be upgraded. The piece of furniture holding the TV just had empty compartments, no drawer, etc. Very odd and unattractive. If we had not needed more than one room, thus limiting our budget, I would have splurged and spent more money and maybe gotten better accommodations. Overall just barely an average experience. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Review Nice hotel and good staff. The room was nice but the hotel is suffering from age and we had several mechanical problems with the elevator and remote door access. The breakfast was very good but the staff was overloaded for the amount of people. I would think management should be able to better anticipate guest capacity and adjust to meet demand. July 21, 2015
