Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed - shame about the restaurant service The room is comfortable and clean but sadly lacking in lighting for working. Really poor food service - no room in restaurant for evening meals that were paid for, and room service took half an hour one evening and a full hour the next. The room service menu included a range of meals not showing on the bar menu - I asked for these and was told i could not have them except in my room. The manager later told me this was not the case - but too late. 13 September 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extended weekend break. It was the first time my wife had visited Glasgow, so decided upon the normally reliable IHG group. I was recognized as a Platinum member and upgraded to a suite, which was very nice (normally at a lot of IHG hotels, one has to beg for an upgrade, even when they are available and in most cases you cannot tell the difference). The overall experience was quite good for a city Centre hotel, ideally placed for everything, including transport. I would certainly recommend this small hotel. 11 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Theatreland Glasgow experience. We were set at ease immediately on our arrival by the cordial greeting and helpfulness of Hannah at the reception desk. She explained the IHG club and enrolled us with enthusiasm and continued to supply all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast and dining staff were all equally helpful and friendly. We have stayed at other Holiday Inns but this was our best experience to date. The location was superb, so convenient for everything we wanted to see and to do. A thoroughly enjoyable stay! 10 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shopper 13 Excellent clean hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing, bus and train stations and shopping. My room was to the back of the hotel so was wonderfully quiet until Saturday morning at 2am when there was a lot of noise in the alleyway at the back of the hotel. I mentioned this to the staff at checkout and apparently there is a nightclub there. I was told that I should have contacted the desk then to get it sorted, next time I will. It wouldn't stop me from going back to this hotel. 10 September 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay Was very impressed with this hotel right from the moment we checked in. The staff were polite and helpful and quick to deal with any requests. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable with a choice of soft or firm pillows. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. I would stay at this hotel if in the area again, and would recommend this hotel to others. Thanks for a great stay! 01 September 2014
