Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Long Weekend Very helpful staff in reception and the restaurant. Had a complex booking in that it was two bookings back to back. Hotel managed this very well enabling me to stay in the same room for the whole stay. Was put in one of the refurbished rooms but it was not the normal standard I have previously experienced with Holiday Inn. Bath was small, shower door opened onto the toilet so we had to squeeze to get into the shower, room lighting was poor although lights by the bed were fine and bed was small by Holiday Inn standards. This may all be because of the design of the building which did not look like the purpose build that Holiday Inn normally occupy. However, this was all far outweighed by the positive points such as the excellent location, quality of service, quality of food and cleanliness. These would all encourage me to stay there again. 25 April 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Improved Stay here every year on recurring business. They have refurbished the rooms which to be honest it was time for and the new rooms and bathrooms are much improved. My only quibble was the gap under the room door that let too much light in from the corridor outside for my liking. A pity because the new blackout curtains were great. Dropped a towel there and that fixed it perfectly. 24 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Getaway to Glasgow The welcome at the hotel was friendly and positive. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. There was a good ambience about the place with music playing quietly in the background. The room was comfortable with all the things that you would expect and looked bright and new as it was one of the newly refurbished rooms. The noise from eelsewhere in the hotel was not too bad (Hotel is being refurbished and we were warned about this). I had a good night's sleep which is unusual for a first night in a strange room 24 April 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Small dark room with inadequate work space The room was rather dingy - I could cope with this but the desk was tiny and this, combined with the lack of power sockets, made it very difficult to work in my room - I could only use the desk if I moved the tea tray on to the floor the make room for my lap top and even then had no space for papers. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay on arrival staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms are immaculate and as I like my tea, the housemaids had no hesitation in providing me with a few extra teabags and milk pots. I feel the breakfast is overly priced but apart from that the dining room and menu is good. The hotel is convenient to the shopping areas, railway station and bus station. 22 April 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Break with Family Another great stay at this hotel. Very Friendly Staff who recognised me as a Priority Club Elite Member. I used Priority Club reward points for two rooms, which both clean and cosy. Both Breakfast and Dinner were quality, plentiful and tasty! I would highly recommend staying here! 10 April 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff. Good Service and comfortable bed Stayed at the Holiday Inn Glasgow City Ctr Theatreland. I found reception and bar staff friendly. Room clean, tidy but on the small side. Comfortable bed but again on the small side for a tall gent as I am. Breakfast was buffet style well cooked and hot but only scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, beans and mushroom available on the hot plate. Maybe a greater range of items can be made available. 09 April 2015
