Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not great for food allerfy sufferers Friendly welcome from reception staff on arrival. Unfortunately, the same friendly attitude was lacking in an older member of the reception staff who was rude and abrupt in front of me and to another customer when I was trying to make a reservation for my next stay at this hotel. I wouldn't have got the room required if it had been down to this person. Would recommend customer service training for this member of staff and will avoid her on future stays. Room comfortable and clean. Restaurant menu is needing a revamp as it hasn't changed in what seems a long time. Lacking in allergen information for customers with food allergies. Took ages for waitress to go back and forth to kitchen to ask the chef what was in the food for my son resulting in one menu choice for him. If a list of the allergens in the menu was provided for customers, this would save a lot of time and make the customer aware of what is and is not safe for them to eat rather than them having to list their allergies to the staff who then go and see what you can eat. Reception and porter staff very helpful on check-out. 24 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay I have stayed at this hotel many times whilst in Glasgow on business, and as a stop-over on both inward and outward bound flights. What makes the hotel exceptional is the helpful staff who are always pleasant and have a 'can do' attitude. Breakfast is superb and Pat always greets you with a cheery smile ... great way to start the day! 23 February 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room poor breakfast Room was paid for by IHG points. I paid for an upgrade to an Executive Room. Room was fine but only one bathrobe and no slippers as advertised in the foyer. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Food had been on the servery for too long and was dried up and inedible. For the Holiday Inn it was well below the standard I would expect for this hotel. 21 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All quiet at the airport The hotel was up to IHG's usual high standard. I was pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the hotel considering it's proximity to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. I finished my business a day early and the staff were very accommodating when I requested an early check out. They adjusted the bill accordingly, even including a reduction of the prepaid car park fee. All in all a great experience. 21 February 2015

Although just a 'standard room' occupant I was treated as if I was a valued guest and that the comfort and enjoyment of my stay was important. All staff with whom I came in contact were friendly yet courteous and attentive to any needs I might have. The room was quiet and comfortable. An added bonus was being able to control the room heat myself. Buffet style breakfasts appear to be the norm for hotels now. Whilst they cannot compete with a freshly cooked individual meal, the breakfasts I had during my stay were fresher and better presented than in other hotels I have stayed in recently. 18 February 2015
