Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and Comfortable I stayed with my family of 4 for one night. The room was excellent and clean. My son has some allergies and the restaurant staff were very helpful in providing the ingredients for any food they provided. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. My kids loved the pool and all the common parts were very clean too. The parking was right in front of the hotel entrance and I would recommend this hotel greatly. September 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff, But VERY Tired Hotel Not sure how old the Hotel actually is, but looks VERY tired and in need of a lot of TLC, especially the rooms. They could also benefit from being ventilated between times of occupation to remove stale odours. Restaurant looks more like a Works Canteen and in need of some major overhaul work. Desperately in need of brightening up to make it appealing, table cloths, better lighting, better ventilation/heating system that actually senses the real temperature, better, brighter uniforms for the Staff (the current ones are Depressing). Baffled about Reward Club recognition, after having to produce Membership Card, only to be told that Ambassadors only recognised as Elite Level!!!! The one saving grace, the Staff. From Check In to Check Out, the entire Team were Great, now they need a Great Hotel to work in! September 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Difficuly busy day for the staff so I understand pressure. On normal days I suspect this hotel would be as good as most of the group hotels - the overcrowding due to Rugby etc lowered normal service. The hotel served its purpose but was unexpectedly full which spoilt service. Food inedible main course (leg of lamb) compensated by offer of a free dessert. Not really a suitable response in my mind as I would have had a dessert and more! Once again perhaps due to overcrowding. Dinner Waitress wonderful - managers less so - none of whom addressed me over the food issue. Breakfast very good. September 24, 2015

I was however slightly inconvenienced by the fact the room key failed 4 times over a 2 night stay. This is not the first time I have had issues with unreliable keys at this hotel. Slightly more flexibility on the set menu would also be appreciated. September 24, 2015
