We had no great issue with anything except that the room safe wasn't attached to anything and could easily have been removed from the room. We wanted to use it[More]
but didn't, because of that.
The lift (elevator) didn't have any floor indication (seems to be broken) although the audio prompts were just about audible.
Our room was a recently refurbished one (could explain the unattached safe?) which was bright and contemporary and located away from the traffic side of the building. That resulted in a reasonable night's sleep. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking but suited my wife, who had a great night's sleep.
The room had lights fitted above the bed but we couldn't find any way to switch them on. This made the room a bit dim when the curtains were drawn shut.
Television had the standard selection of terrestrial channels, which was adequate for our needs during the short stay.
The hotel location is fine for the main theatres and is an easy walk to the centre of the city and to both railway stations.
If we need to have another overnight stay for leisure purposes, this will be on our list of hotels to check for availability. Location, staff and general ambience are absolutely fine. The issues mentioned above are quite trivial and won't affect our future choice of hotel in this area. [Less]
