Pretty much a standard Holiday Inn but not up to the high standards normally associated with this chain in terms of cleanliness, food, reception area and public areas.
In every other hotel I have ever stayed in I have been told my room number and the location of the room on checking. In this hotel as a Gold Elite member I was given a envelope and that was that. I had to open the envelope to find the room number and look for the room myself. I did raise this with the reception staff and was told this was to speed up the priority club check in service, however this is the first time I have experienced this as a member. Not the sort of service I expect as a Gold Elite member I'm afraid.
Other than that the air conditioning did not appear to be working which was brought to the attention of reception when I checked out.
Wheelchair accessible room had a bath, albeit a low one, which is not really suitable for some wheelchair users such as my wife.
Only there for one night so suitable for purpose on this occasion but would not want to stay for more than one night if travelling with my wife unless wheelchair accessible rooms have a wheelchair accessible showers.

I was most dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. The room telephone didn't work for the whole duration of my stay, even though I reported this several times. I was not informed upon checking in that WiFi was complimentary due to the type of room that I booked.

Booked the room two hours before arriving. Package included a delicious breakfast with a wide choice, great choice of fruits to choose from for the veggie.
Comfortable, clean, quiet room. Hassle free check in and deal included a complimentary welcome drink which was appreciated by weary travellers.
Great starting point for a day in London the following day.
Have stayed in Holiday Inns before and will continue to do so.

My family group get together at the Holiday Inn High Wycombe every year and have been doing so since 2001. The hotel is extremely well managed. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient and, without exception, treat us as highly valued guests. The overall quality of service is second to none and exceeds most 5* hotels. There appear to be no weak links and we always leave feeling refreshed and wanting more. All the staff and management should be highly congratulated.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lizbet72 STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Because of mobility problems they kindly put us into an easy access room. However although the bath was much lower and I was able to access it with only a little difficulty it would have been preferable to have a shower cubicle or walk in shower. I mentioned this to reception on checking out and was told it would probably be considered when the rooms were refurbished but you need to consider this if you have mobility problems.
