Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Work well for us My wife and I recently visited Hong Kong to visit our daughter doing a study abroad at City University of Hong Kong. When looking for a Hotel we had 3 requirements, an in-room bathroom, Internet, and a hair dryer, simply you might think but not in Hong Kong reasonably prices. Our room was small but very efficient and work well for our needs. Breakfast was great we loved the local choice on their menu, only wished they would have open earlier, 2 days we had to leave the motel before breakfast starter at 7. We just loved the place and would stay their again, only negatives I could say was the late starting breakfast and we arrived a day late due to a weather delay and causing us to miss a connecting flight, Chicago only has one flight a day to Hong Kong and the hotel was notified over 24 hour in advance but we were still charged for the night we did not use. 26 April 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, great location My wife, baby daughter and I stayed here from 11 to 15 April 2013. Having booked a room with double bed and sofa bed, we were pleasantly pleased to be given a corner room on the 22nd floor. As a Priority Rewards Club member, check-in was swift even though we arrived at the hotel shortly after 1pm. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable so we slept well, even when burglars drove a taxi into the France Station shop on the ground floor in the early hours of 14 April. Only real issue I had with the room was that the hot water in the shower was not as hot as I am usually used to and the in-room free WiFi a little slow. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and did their best to make sure we had everything we needed. The free breakfast was appreciated especially when we were in a rush. We like the location of the hotel in Causeway Bay, walking distance from all the important shopping malls and with good access to banking services. 21 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good, reasonably priced hotel close to Hong Kong Stadium I traveled with a group to attend the 2013 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens Tournament. This was the most reasonably priced hotel available within walking distance of the Hong Kong Stadium. That was the main consideration. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is wonderful and did their very best to accommodate our group. Even the security guard took the time to walk us to the correct taxi queue (on the other side of Times Square) so we could do some sight seeing on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. The room was small, but very clean. The room was equipped with two twin beds and one small sleeper sofa. The beds were comfortable enough, but the sleeper sofa was absolutely horrible! Our group there for the rugby is very tolerant, but that sleeper sofa was bad. The shower is very nice! The linens plentiful and clean. Free wifi was wonderful! Breakfast was good, but very limited in choices with relatively small portions. Again, the friendly staff made up for some of this. The staff recognized my Priority Club status and graciously allowed us to have a late check-out. Very close to the Causeway Bay metro station and good restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying there again, but not with more than two people to a room. 16 April 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good size room for HK in good location Situated behind Times Square makes in really convenient to get to from the airport and around HK. Airport Express is easily the best way to Hong Kong Island then MTR to Causeway Bay and the hotel is 2 mins. Bit of a building site around the hotel but should be improving quite quickly. Check-in - easy and quick and after a long day travelling this is just what you want Room - good size with large bed and crisp linen, pillows are excellent. Sofa (sofa-bed) was a bit rickety and wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it but did give somewhere to sit. Desk and chair with kettle & 2 bottles of water but the water from the tap is fine once boiled, Take some coffee sticks if you like your coffee as although there are two sachets with kettle the two together dont make one mug. One thing that did surprise me was the old CRT television in the room with quite a small screen, I would expect a larger flat screen from HK where techno is king! Plenty of English channels (including the old standby BBC World) and some movie channels. Bathroom - quite small but some toiletries, shower and loo. Plenty of towels. Facilities - none really, there are a couple of restaurants in the hotel but didn't really appeal. Breakfast - included but not very good, but the coffee is good. Nearby MTR station will take you anywhere around HK island or Kowloon. Tram stop 2 minutes walk, great value HK$2.30 for any length of trip, will take you to central for escalators etc. 12 April 2013

It's actually a tight space but it has everything. The breakfast offers 4 different meals to choose from. I like the choices. There was one gal at the hotel front desk that I felt could improve her attitude but it was still OK. I was actually very upset with her at first but decided to hold my anger. 12 April 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good and enjoyable stay Overall experience was good. The morning breakfast is good and delicious though can add more set menu. If possible to add more TV channels would be good also. Providing a hand soap in the bathroom can also be helpful. Check-in and Check-out was efficient. The only negative is our room space that is smaller and crowded and our extra folding bed cannot fit and extend properly in the room and is hard so it is difficult to sleep. One time the escalator was not working which caused my mom to slip and hit her leg. The internet and wifi also is slower than usual. Aside from those, everything was mostly positive during our stay. The staff service and front desk was good and accommodating and can converse well both in english and chinese mandarin. But I would like to specially commend one front desk personnel which was very friendly to me and attended to all my inquiries and concerns. She was just new and had worked for just a few days during our visit but she was already very knowledgeable and good in giving advise to our travels. I personally praise her and give my sincerest appreciation of her service towards guests. Hope that I get the chance to meet her again and keep in touch when we visit again in the future. Furthermore the Holiday Inn express offers great value for money which includes breakfast. Room was comfortable and one was able to access the wifi without any issues. Will most definately stay at the Holiday Inn Express Causeway bay when we visit Hong Kong again. 02 April 2013

Represents great value for money with set breakfast and wifi included in price. Checkin and checkout was quick and efficient, found the staff only too happy to help. Called the hotel a few days before I arrived with a problem about my booking. They were able to fix it straight away and put my mind at ease. I found them very professional. Room was typical for Hong Kong but big enough and housekeeping always had the room and bathroom spotless. 23 March 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 地段好,服务好,就餐便捷 地段真的没话说,交通也方便,就是去地铁地下走的路多点。房间设施比较旧,但是还干净的,有沙发床。服务真的很好,看我们带着小孩,特地给我们选择了大的房间。会员优惠也很好,送饮料,退房时间延迟到下午2点。早餐是包含在房费中的,套餐的形式。人比较多,但是还可以的。其他吃饭也很方便,是早餐的地方晚上是小火锅,100多一个人,有生蚝、有海鲜,超级实惠,在吃的多是本地人,很少有游客。同一幢楼还有全港最好的烤乳猪!本来宾馆门口有家很好吃的甜品店,人气超旺。可惜搬走了,有点遗憾。带着孩子吃吃、玩玩、加购物真的很方便。 24 February 2013

Great location, literally speaking it is just next to times squre. You can enjoy shopping and it is very covenient to take the subway. I told the front office staff, they said they will report it for me, but so far, I heard nothing. I'm quite disappointed. 05 February 2013
