I've stayed here several times on business trips and have always had a good experience. The rooms are clean and always stocked with the expected amenities. When I've needed an extra amenity such as a toothbrush or toothpaste, they've been able to help me out . Madeline at the front desk has been especially courteous, and friendly, and helpful to me during my stays - she's even recommended good restaurants in Houma for me to try for dinner.
The only possible area for improvement I see is noise level in some of the rooms - there have been a few times I've stayed there when people in the room next door were talking loudly and I could hear, but I suppose it's my fault for not calling the front desk to ask them to call the room and have them quiet down.

Place was a wreck with construction going on. Food was horrible. After not having 3 choices that we ordered, 45 minutes later, brought out really bad dinner. Make shift dining area was dark and loud. Hallways were a mess from all the construction. Problem getting a wake up call that cost me a day of missed training. Caused trouble for me with my employer due to missed appointment. Alarm clock in room also didn't work, hence the reason for the need for a wake up call. On a positive not, the hotel staff were all extremely friends, personable, professional and did all they could to make up for the botched wake up call. May be a better place or different without construction going on. Location was great.

My requirements are few since I usually arrive late and leave early. Food and bar availability is not a major concern. I only ask for a clean, well provided, quiet room.

Stayed for business and the rooms were clean, updated and very relaxing. The only downside was that they were renovating the dining area at the time so the usual restaurant and bar was not fully accessible. Other than that it is a great hotel, close to everything you need in Houma.

I spend an average of 5 days a month at the Holiday Inn in Houma and every time it feels like home. The best part of the Hotel is definitely the people working here. I had pretty much met everyone and the warm welcomes and smiling faces give a boost to the whole experience. My only regret is the fact that the hotel doesn't give a possibility of continental breakfast included in the price of the stay like many other hotels of the same chain offer. I have used their kitchen for breakfast a couple of times and the food was always excellent. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. My family joined me on the weekends many time and the location is also excellent for the shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

I am from the Caribbean island of Trinidad. I bunked at the Holiday Inn for the second time prior to heading offshore to GOM as it was one of the closest hotels to the PHI heliport. My last stay on February 18th and this stay were both comfortable ones. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and the food provided at the hotel was tasty and cooked to my type of preference. It may not be a five star hotel, but if you're looking for a restful night's sleep you can count on this hotel. It is located within close proximity of other shopping places. Can't go wrong.

Friendly and very helpful staff made it a "feel at home" experience. Relatively new facility with a fresh, modern feeling. Tedious to connect to the free Wi-Fi. Television didn't work upon arrival. Needed to be programmed differently. That selection should have been made prior to arrival.
