A very warm welcome at reception after arriving a few hours before check in. Lady receptionist confirmed the room would most likely be ready sooner and suggested using the coffee/bar area to wait. All the staff were very accommodating, offering to bring coffee out to patio and happy to provide extra coffee/milk etc. at reception for our room. The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious and well designed. I really enjoyed having the lovely view across the racecourse and found the hotel very relaxing.

Stayed onsite because of an event at the racecourse. The hotel has recently been built and as such was in very good condition, rooms were comfortable, dinner service was great and the staff really friendly.

Overall a good quality, modern, clean hotel with courteous and helpful staff. Good business facilities and free internet connection (should be standard in all hotels). Rooms were clean, although thought the beds were too firm but appreciate this is subjective.
Compared to other Holiday Inns the breakfast experience requires attention. Missing table utensils, poor selection of fruit, slow service for coffee, croissants all gone, no butter available.
Previous evening room service was efficient and friendly but was missing condiments that I had requested. Also very little choice on room service for vegetarians. All of these points are very basic and should be simple to address. Had they have been right in the first place I would have awarded full marks.
