Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dated room in dated hotel in midst of rennovation Room was very old with poor quality plumbing - you needed to stand in the shower a long time before you got wet! Gym was not available for use much to my annoyance. Have paid far less for comparable and better IHG hotels in the UK recently. Would not recommend. 15 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our first stay at this hotel - enjoyed it very much! It was the first time we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Kenilworth, and we have no complaints. The staff greeted us on arrival and made us welcome. If you are a disabled person booking, I would make it clear as it can be quite a walk to some of the rooms. However, the guest rooms were clean and tidy, quite large compared to some Holiday Inns we have been to, and with two double beds in our room, there was room to spread out. The restaurant is a mix of styles - Holiday Inn Express/Holiday Inn, but the restaurant was warm and tidy and not over crowded at the time of our visit. The reception area was not 'super sized' but adequate, with a small bar and lounge area behind. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would use it again. The only issue we have found with this hotel is that it is sometimes dearer than other Holiday Inn hotels in the area and it has no swimming pool - which when we travel with our 7 year old grand daughter is a big plus with some of the other hotels. 10 December 2014

Rooms were well furnished, clean and quiet. We had a good night sleep. Good value for money. We would definately return. The food was not scored because these were not used. 09 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A 'Double' bed? Atrocious lighting For a change the bed was of a decent 'hardness'; ie not like a trampoline like so many HIX these days. However, their 'double' bed' is only 4'6" which is not wide enough for a couple to have a decent, restful, night's sleep. Lighting was also very poor; very difficult to read anything. 08 December 2014
