no more espresso coffee on breakfast - this is definitely worse then it was in my previous visit.
The room was cold, it requires calls to the reception twice to get it to normal worm temperature.
Still, cold wind from the window wasn't avoidable.
Additionally, that would be great if the room would have a "not so worm" blanjet, additionally to the "very worm blanket" it currently has

Everyone in the Hotel Staff was kind and very accommodating. A late evening beverage self-service access to tea and juice instead of requiring it as a compulsory room service would be good and more economical. A special service for access to translators/interpreters similar to the taxi service provided by the hotel would be helpful. There was no size/space difference between the executive and standard rooms.

I spent 5 nights at the Holiday Inn Kiev. The reason for this is that I stayed there for one night about 1 week earlier for a stopover. When I returned to Kiev I was going to stay at a different IHG brand hotel but I was so impressed with the staff and made to feel welcome I decided to return for 5 more nights.
The check in and check at procedure was stress free and quick. Marina, Olga and Juliya were truly superb with not only the way they conducted themselves but also giving me time during the day to always make me feel welcome and even to chat about everyday life.
Restaurant and Bar staff impressed me equally. Angelika, Yana, Anastasia, Lidiya, Alina, Anna and even Boris always had time for me and we shared many stories and laughs.
I was upgraded to an executive room which was appreciated and the room had a great view of the city and everything a single travelling guy could want. Bar, Lobby and restaurant were great places to relax after exploring the city. Breakfast was OK and a little expensive but other food and drinks were well priced and to be honest, I would rather have good people looking after me then cheap food and the Holiday Inn does this for sure.
I would have no hesitation in telling others to stay at this hotel whenever you visit Kiev. Sure, you can stay at hotels with better amenities but I doubt they would have the staff as friendly as what the Holiday Inn Kiev does. So do yourself a favour and try this hotel when in Kiev, you will not be disappointed!!
I will be back later this year for another 7 night stay.
The only thing I would change about this hotel is that I would love to see an ATM in the lobby for guests to access cash.
