Their staff could still help me arrange a late checkout even though their rooms are quite fully book for the day. Really appreciate their service. The only con is their location, if only more shutter bus services could be provided to ferry guest around will be great. November 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel with Excellent Staffs I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Glenmarie in numerous occasions and the experience have been very good mainly because of the Staffs who are friendly, courteous and resourceful. The quality of the breakfast can be improved and I don't mind to pay extra for the room rate to receive better quality breakfast. Will stay at this hotel if I am to return to Glenmarie. The person (Indian Man) who man the Executive Club act more like a guard then a service oriented person. I was asking for direction, he sat at his desk, don't even bother to stand up and gave me a unfriendly look as if I am disturbing him. The staffs who man the Kite Restaurant do not greet you and don't speak English. The quality of breakfast served is real bad. No standard, no pride in what they serve. Overall this property is my worst experience in IHG and destroying the good name of IHG. November 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Service in a Peaceful Setting It's hard to feel as though you are "away" from the hustle and bustle of KL without leaving the Klang Valley. However, this place is about as close to secluded as you can get. We've stayed twice now and both times we really enjoyed the setting. However, we enjoyed this most recent time even more due to a big step up in customer service. I was really impressed by the way the staff went out of their way to help. One knock on the hotel though is the food. We got room service and it was... well, not so good. We especially recommend NOT to get the cheese platter. The buffet breakfast and dinner were better, but below typical IHG standards. However, again, we cannot fault the friendly wait staff. November 14, 2015
