Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by All right for the price and convienent location We live near by. We stayed here two nights during the middle of the week while we were having work done on our house. The staff was very polite and friendly. Parking was free and readily available. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The major complaint I have is that there was a very foul odor in the hallways (not noticeable in the room). It may have been due to the recent renovations, perhaps the new carpet?? Speaking of which, the carpet is really ugly in my opinion. I love the color of the walls and the new light fixtures but do not care for the carpet. The first night we ate in the hotel restaurant. The service and the food were good. I should have know better than to order a glass of wine. Overall, it was not bad. It is freeway close to a lot of San Diego attractions. 23 February 2015
