Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, no frills This hotel is a decent place to stay if you are not looking for extras. There is no refrigerator in the room and no complimentary breakfast provided. There are some great places to eat close by though. I was traveling on business and found this about the middle of the line for price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place looks great outside and seems secure. 24 November 2014

Front desk accommodated need for toothbrush and was welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and well maintained throughout the stay. Location of hotel is near great places to eat. 23 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok but Don't wate money on executive rooms The hotel is average and in a bad spot with all the construction going on which of course is not their fault. The executive lounge is one of the worst of all the Holiday Inn Chains I have stayed in around the world with the Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai being the best. At this one only 1 hot food item and a policy of only two glasses of cheap wine or 2 beers and no liquor. A lot of people like myself book the executive level for the added perks and this one falls short. On this basis and policy alone I would not stay at this hotel again. It is a shame as overall it is a good hotel and great staff at the desk and restaurant. If you don't book the executive level and expect a better level of service and amenities I suppose it is your average Holiday Inn but a bit over priced in my view. 21 November 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Promises not fulfilled. Like my previous stay, when I wasn't given a king sized bed I specified, this last visit will be my last to any IHG affiliated hotel. For this stay, I was assured and promised by the front desk clerk, that although I received a best flexible rate room price, I will still indeed receive reward points. However that was not the case. It is very unsatisfying that after 10 plus nights i have stayed at this hotel, I only have 5,500 points, and to be considered to redeem points a minimum of 10 thousand points is required. I don't sense any reason for this promotion to be in effect if it will take so much to get something in return. 20 November 2014
