Very busy hotel, so some of the unhappiness I had with it could be expected, but it was not a good stay. I wished I had booked another hotel. The front desk clerk who checked me in seemed to be determined to set a record for the number of guests she signed in. She was rude and brusque to those in front of her. She was, however, very pleasant to a former guest who called while we were standing, waiting for her to get off the phone. The elevators were very slow. My room was well cleaned by housekeeping, but the carpet was stained and felt sticky under foot. I didn't have breakfast there so I can't comment on that.

Corner room suite at high-end rate. Lighting very poor; limited outlets needed for charging electronics; blow dryer would not work; shower curtain did not fit properly; shower faucet dripped.
We were told hotel had a full-service dining area. The restaurant is located in a public area and is quite limited. Reservation/Reception agent did not ask for our IHC rewards number, did not ask if we had any discount memberships. Overall, not up to our previous experiences at Holiday Inns.
Staff was courteous. Room was clean.

Even though the hotel was undergoing some renovations during my stay, the staff was extremely polite and responsive to my needs. I've stayed at this hotel dozens of times and, especially once renovations and updates are complete, I would recommend this hotel to my family or friends.
