This was our second stay here, and I can honestly say that after staying at some of the finest hotels in the world, the service here matched or bettered anything else. Let me tell you why! First, having a disables wife, our room was not suitable. despite the hotel being full, Julie on reception made sure we accommodated in one of the recently refurbished rooms along a stretch were this was the only one just finished (all the others along the corridor were being worked on). They put all the stops out. Next Caroline from housekeeping came to see us to make up the extra bed for my young daughter and brought her some complimentary hot chocolate and chocolate bars - a nice touch that was on her own back! She kept popping back to see if everything was ok and my wife was settled. Then, since the hotel was so busy and we had to wait a while for our meal, Sheridan from the bar offered us complimentary drinks and came over to check if we wanted something else while we were waiting. She did this to others not only to ourselves - a nice touch again as she personally took the initiative, even though she could have just apologised and left it at that. Even the staff the next morning were superb (Mustafa in general). The check out was again very warming. WHAT IS IT ABOUT THIS HOTEL??!! I found the service and staff was better than the self-proclaimed 7 star in Dubai and the leading hotel in Monte Carlo, how about that! WHY? Because for the price you pay at these other hotels, you EXPECT it. At a Holiday Inn it's refreshing and genuine. Remember - It's not where you stay but the personal touch that makes all the difference. Room Tip: Being fully refurbished - make sure to ask for one of these rooms! 20 March 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buisness trip - Regular user I use this hotel each time I stay in the area as there is a gym (although not very big but ok for a hotel). And a pool and sauna definitely worth a visit. The staff are great especially the reception where they greet you with a smile and say goodbye with a smile and will always go out of there way to engage and make sure you have a great stay. Downside pillows (yes not a big issue) but there too hard please change even the soft pillows are too hard. Bar area ok but expensive - food ok but expensive. The remote is left to the devices of people staying which sometimes can lead to disagreements. I feel the remote should be controlled by the bar and popular channels chosen. I am a regular user of this hotel and have chosen it mainly because of the friendly atmosphere and on a plus point the hotel has recently been refurbished. 11 March 2015
