Always a very warm welcome and fantastic service at the reception, especially from Lilly.
The Hotel chef is very engaging in the lobby early evening when he offers you sample curries from the evening menu.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JazzD Standard rooms and cold and noisy
Ive stayed here a few times and found The standard are a bit shabby and dated, each time the heating hasnt worked and the hotel are aware so they bring you a portable heater. When the doors close on nearby rooms it literally rocks the walls and will wake you up! The executive rooms are better but much more expensive but really are the same standard as most modern hotels elsewhere. Its an expensive hotel for what you get, breakfast is not cooked to order and therefore can taste a little lifeless from sitting under the heatlamps all morning.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Vicki73 Amazing Location - Service not so amazing
If you want easy access to Leicester town centre and Narborough Road area you can't beat this hotel - a 4 min walk to the town centre, 8 to Narborough road.
The communal areas are smart and clean and they had some great Xmas decs up - felt lovely and wintery/Xmassy.
The room was clean and tidy but had seen better days (given we were upgraded I wonder what state the other rooms are in). Housekeeping left 1 towel that was honestly no better than a rag, whilst the other was soft and fluffy.
At breakfast despite the lady taking an order for tea / coffee as we sat down it never arrived, the breads weren't replenished (none of them - empty baskets were left for the whole hour we were at breakfast). The cooked breakfast was nice but cold. It just lacked the care, concern and service I've experienced at other Holiday Inns. They are not posh but they are normally, friendly, efficient and welcoming which I'm afraid this isn't.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by WifeofaBaseballer Windy window. Cracked bathroom sink.
This stay was not up to the normal standards they we have become accustomed to when staying at a Holiday Inn.
1. The window was not sealed properly, wind was blowing through
It, causing a horrible noise and a cold night for sleeping.
2. The bathroom sink was badly cracked, in need of replacement.
3. Then the sting in the tail, was paying NCP car parking rates of
£10 per 24 hours. On this occasion It was required that our stay
would be 2 nights. This resulted into an extra £20 on to the
4. The cups and glasses used for the Baseball AGM, were not
clean, also the cups and glass In the restaurant were not clean.
There was residue from the dishwasher on them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dave65now great service and good locartion
Hotel is easy to find. in the center of Leicester. Parking was so simple, adjourning the hotel, and reasonable rates. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the room was as we imagined, having stayed in Holiday inns, all around the world. This was our first break since retiring, and we were given complimentary drinks and snacks. The staff really do come over as caring.
