Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service but tiny room The staff cannot be faulted, they went above and beyond to help. The whole hotel was clean and furniture was of a good standard. The bed was comfortable, but the room was far too small for our needs with a baby travel cot to put up. It was a struggle to get in the bathroom with crutches. The bathroom could do with a toilet brush and some air freshener to hand too as these weren't available! 30 March 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice refurbished room Being a member of IHG I got an executive room which was really nice with extra amenities that were much appreciated. The location is also excellent. The Wi-Fi is patchy and it's annoying to repeatedly have to log in - but it was free which is a great bonus. The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were friendly. I was placed in a room right outside the bins which on a weekend led to loud crashing sounds as they were emptied - I was grateful for my earplugs! 27 March 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little disappointed This was our second stay at this hotel after a pleasant few days there last year. But this time we were a little disappointed. Our room was newly refurbished and clean but much too small for comfort. The wifi internet connection was erratic and kept disconnecting. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. The hotel front lobby was cold and unwelcoming, and I was unable to get a mobile phone signal in the seating areas in the inner lounge.The receptionist who attended to us on arrival did not appear to be fully trained and spoke poor and indistinct English. On departure a different receptionist appeared harassed and distracted. Overall a rather less enjoyable experience than I usually associate with Holiday Inn. 25 March 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Businees/leisure stay in London THE HOLIDAY INN , BLOOMSBURY London IS RECOMMENDED BY ME AS A CENTRAL LOCATION OFFERING COMFORT ANDCARE. Excellent POLITE STAFF responding to your needs. The only problem during my stay in March 2015 was the sterling/euro exchange rate. Hopefully it will be better value when I visit London again. 24 March 2015
