Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 excellent facilities and great service Best hotel we have stayed in London. Very helpful staff pool and steam room kept the kids happy. Room service super quick even though we stayed at a very busy time of the year. Had to queue for breakfast but as mentioned stayed Christmas time so expected it to be busy. When seated the breakfast was first class. All staff were so attentive and helpful. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful Christmas break. 23 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, but not the best location Although the location of this is a distance from any tube or major train station, the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were always attentive and happy to help you. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was a nice experience. The bed and choice of pillows was good. 20 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well Located Only a short walk to various tube stations, I strolled down to Chancery Lane but Kings Cross is not a stretch. Well appointed hotel with little sign of irritating wear and tear. If there is a critique it would revolve around the buffet breakfast, which is extensive but hard to maintain food from either being overcooked or cool, but just eating continental will solve that issue. 20 December 2014

I've stayed in the area a few times for similar trips, and had some awful hotels (like one on Drury Ln). This was much better - more than adequate for my needs. Just the usual problems (slow internet, noisy in-hotel neighbours. 16 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous room with mega comfy bed After spending a long day Christmas shopping & sightseeing around London, it was a delight to come back to the nicely decorated spacious room which had a large wide screen Tv, sofa and a mega comfy bed with fluffy duvet and pillows. Room service was excellent and the staff were polite & friendly. Only drawback was that it was a fair walk from hotel to nearest rail station which was Kings Cross after walking around London all day - but in saying that, once on the tube, it was quite quick to travel to Covent Garden, Leicester Square etc. Lovely hotel, would recommend and would stay here again. 15 December 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced! The Holiday Inn at Kings Cross survives largely due to the location of the hotel. The physical plant is in dire need of upgrading and the Internet service Is distinctly early nineties in quality and speed. However the customer service is good and the rooms comfortable.But the reality is that the hotel is quite overpriced for what it offers. 15 December 2014
