Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Accomodating Good Hotel, will be better once refurbishments are finished. Staff were very helpful as daughter a wheelchair user and we were able to use service lift when the others malfunctioned. Yes, you pay for use of pool etc, this is stated on the website. May 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Visit to London 6th~8th July, 2016. After a poor start, with a Room being marked clean, when it was still used and dirty, the Staff could not have done more to turn this disappointment around and did so with aplomb ! Many thanks to all the Staff we interacted with ~ You made it a really enjoyable stay. This is so rewarding as things do go wrong, however it's the way these unexpected problems are dealt with that make all the difference ! The Hotel was also under Refurbishment during our visit, but we were not inconvenienced in any way whatsoever, by these operations. It was a very good overall experience, apart from the initial disappointment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Well done H/Inn-Kings Cross Bloomsbury. May 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Impressed We have stayed here several times before but this time was very disappointing. We are platinum members and that was not acknowledged on check in and wasn't offered the usual drink or points. We paid for an exec room but when we got to the room there wasn't the upgraded toiletries and no bathrobe neither. The bath had hairs from the previous person in the bath. The only positive about the stay was the bed was comfortable, however the road our room looked onto was extremely noisy and unfortunately it was in an area where the construction was taking place so we had no chance of having a lie in as the drilling woke us. Reception is where a restaurant used to be and the doors are wedged open allowing people to smoke in the entrance so smoke wafts in and it was very strong when we checked in and checked out. Upon check out we were not even asked how our stay was. I can't see us returning to this hotel any time soon. May 16, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I had higher expectations for this hotel I am a very light sleeper, so straight after booking, I sent an email to request a quiet room on the highest floor possible. We were greeted upon arrival at 2PM, by a very charming lady, and told that we'd been given an upgrade to an Executive Room on the 8th floor - as I'm a Spire IHG member. Initial impressions of the hotel room, and common areas were very good, as we dropped our bags off in the room - ready to explore London. We arrived a good while later, and decided to register on the WiFi, whilst having a drink in the bar. All our devices registered fine, but the internet speed was appalling and there were constant dropouts. Another annoying thing, it didn't remember your username/password, so you have to sign in if you want to use the internet again later. The room key my partner was given hadn't been programmed correctly (wouldn't unlock the door), but luckily I had my key with me. Worst still, the bathroom in Room 854 absolutely stank of dirty sewers. After an exhausting day, and being nearly midnight, neither of us had the energy to go down and ask for a room change. The maid should've surely picked up on this when preparing the room! Furthermore, the layout of the bathroom isn't very good - big glass door that only opens halfway, shower that soaks the bathroom floor and a toilet with a spare toilet roll holder that attacks you. The air conditioning wasn't very effective - at its coolest setting, it was barely able to cool the room properly. Those problems aside, we did have a good nights sleep and the bed/pillows were comfortable, but there's plenty to be done to reach Crowne Plaza standards! May 9, 2016
