Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gill68 Helpful and friendly reception staff made a great start to our stay
Although we had to book in early, due to attending a wedding locally at midday; the staff on reception could not have been more friendly and helpful.
When we returned to the hotel much later (2am!) we were able to have a relaxing drink in the excellent bar before going up to our room.
On a hot night in central London, the air conditioning was brilliant and the beds really comfortable; making for a good nights sleep.
Breakfast next morning was super too.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fi68 Perfect Hotel for a trip to London
My Sister and I stayed in a twin room (smoking-our choice) for an overnight stay in London, We were attending a concert at Hyde Park that evening and then shopping and a visit to The Shard the next day. This hotel is central for anything you want to do in London, the staff are great, very friendly and helpful. We had to checkout of the room in the morning, so wanted to leave our cases somewhere safe while we spent the day out and about before leaving London. No problem they are locked away safe until your return. I can't fault this hotel in any way and I'm picky!! Beds clean and comfortable/good pillows. Clean room and bathroom -excellent!!! This is my number 1 choice for staying in London!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hansie Great welcome
The receptionists and the other staff I come into contact with always greet me and ask if everything is fine with my room and ask if there is anything I need. They check my next reservation for me and always allocate me my favourite room and I have my bathrobe, slippers in the room and my newspaper is delivered in the morning.

Booked early on a family room and had a phenomenal rate. We arrived a few hours early but they had already made our room available. Room was very large clean and well presented. Outstanding service throughout our stay. We were even allowed to leave our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy another day around London.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Karinayla Friendly and helpfull staff, very comfortable room
This is the third time I stayed in this hotel, and it's getting better each time. The location is super, right in the centre of London, yet in à very calm street. Charming entree, reception staff very efficient, rooms super and very clean. I love the possibility to prepare coffee or tea in the room (and the biscuit too :-)). Breakfast: very good food, tables are cleaned quickly, wide assortiment of warm and cold, fresh fruit, yoghurts, I don't know what to choose first. Good value for your money! I know already i'll return next year. Thanks!

Thought our stay was perfect. Good location great to get to all top London shops and sites, I prefer to walk every where so it's great to get to everywhere. Staff helpful. Didn't eat in.

Fantastic location, great value for money. Knowledgeable, professional staff with fabulous attention to detail.
The way we were welcomed was superb and the food and beverage was great value for money.
You can access every attraction London has to offer from this hotel with ease on public transport or walking if you prefer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HampG Perfect location
Perfect location - proximity to transport facilities, Oxford Street, Marylebone High Street, yet on a quiet street with virtually no noise and traffic disturbances.
Clean and comfortable room with pleasant service personnel. (The toilet in Room #692 was awkwardly placed, preventing proper opening of the door.)
Great to find the same Concierge, Mohamed, whom we have known for years and who recognized us.
In contrast, lots of personnel changes at the Front Desk. They were oblivious of the customers (in my case after having checked me in some 45 minutes earlier!).

Receptionist used my name made us welcome. The room was immediately available and the check in was quick and easy. The concierge helped with theatre tickets and stopped a taxi for us. We had a problem free stay and will use this hotel again as it was an ideal location with great shopping and restaurants close by.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AlandLiz Overall - Acceptable
Staff were helpful and courteous, room was comfortably acceptable, and the complimentary wine to celebrate our birthdays was very much appreciated.
Overall though, one does have the feeling that the cost of staying at this hotel is driven far more by the location than the facilities.

If you enjoy going back in time to the 70s, try this hotel. Small rooms, small bathrooms (the bathroom door that knocks on the toilet), expensive wi-fi (free in most hotels nowadays), no minibar, expensive breakfast with very minimal buffet, no room upgrade (despite availability). Only positive things are decent sized tv & comfortable bed (standard Holiday Inn), on top of the location. But there are nicer and cheaper hotels around the corner. Yes, unfortunately the only up to date thing about the hotel are the prices.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gloria11 Never again
Booked a smoking room 3 months in advance. did not get a smoking room (despite being available online to book on the day).
Recieved a letter at check-in recognising my platinum status staying there was free water, juice and biscuits in the room, which there was not. Aircon didn't work (on hotest day of the year so far). Curtains do not fully close leaving a bright shaft of light coming through. Was told several different stories from front desk staff as to why room request was not honoured, so was lied to buy at least one person.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chrish2 Very nice hotel with a good location
Had a very nice stay at this Holiday Inn. Good location with easy access to shops. A number of very nice restaurants nearby (try St Christopher's Place which has a number of places to eat).
Walked from Euston station (with smallish bag) and to Kings Cross (without bags) as weather was very nice however would not recommend to do this if the weather is unpleasant.
Staff in the hotel where very friendly and always wanting to help.
Room was modern with more plug sockets than I could count! A welcome change from visiting hotels which have only 1 plug socket in the room.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by LDClogs Good location, needs a revamp
If you want a good location, close to Oxford St, and you just need somewhere to lay your head at night, then this hotel will be perfect for you. However the room I stayed in was in great need of a revamp - chipped and scuffed paintwork, tired furniture (apart from the standard issue Holiday Inn bed surround and bathroom) - and the atmosphere was rather depressing. If you want to feel welcomed and able to relax in your room, then look elsewhere!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Humanplay Nice big room and a central location
stayed many times mainly because of the central location and the room sizes are pretty good. Desk staff are very welcoming. Bar service lets hotel down there is never anyone on to serve you and if there is someone they have the tv on loudly showing some rubbish not news or sport.

We stayed for 4 Nights.
It was a good stay and location is convenient.
However, the wardrobe area needs to be brighter - only light is from toilet. Those taking the Tube do remember to alight at Bond Street Station instead of Oxford Circus.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shastajohn A great hotel, with superior service
My family and I spent the Easter holiday week at the London Oxford Circus hotel and had a wonderful time. The hotel is ideally located and the room (with two big double beds) was great. What really distinguishes this property, however, is the superior service. From the manager, to the clerks, to the bellmen, to the maids, they all went out of their way to be helpful. I contacted them a couple of weeks before arrival to ask for help booking a day trip to Stonehenge; done. I asked for an extra chair and pillows on arrival; immediate satisfaction. I needed a vase for flowers (we celebrated an anniversary and some birthdays); there was a knock on my door within minutes. It was bitterly cold during our visit, so having friendly faces and a comfortable-boarding-on-cozy room waiting for us after each outing was especially welcome!
