Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor breakfast and overcharged I have stayed at many Holiday Inns and almost always have been happy with the hotels and service. This was the worst Holiday Inn I have stayed in, some staff are off hand and do not seem to care about the poor service. The breakfast was bad, no cutlery for guests at the next table, no glasses, no one brought tea or coffee and the restaurant area was untidy as tables were not being cleared. The hotel charged me more than the price quoted in the resrvation and I had to make two calls to the hotel to get this put right. The first person who answered clearly had no idea how the Holiday Inn reservation system works. October 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's all about Location The Holiday Inn Regents Park is less than five minutes walk from Great Portland Street Tube Station in one direction and is only 10 minutes walk from Oxford Circus in the other direction so this suited us perfectly. I had stayed there before so knew the location. Lots of good coffee shops and restaurants between hotel and Oxford Circus. The hotel is in a quiet street so it was great at night even if we had the window open. The rooms are standard Holiday Inn products although seemed small compared to those in the Middle East (more like Holiday Inn Express size) but they are clean and the shower works and with Holiday Inn, you know what you will be getting. Internet worked well and we really only needed a room to sleep and shower. Breakfast was the standard buffet with plenty of choice. More fresh fruit would have been nice but not a necessity. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good central location Comfortable hotel but rather overpriced for size of room, especially the bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Very central to all shops and theatres. Would use it again. Rooms could do with refurbishment. September 28, 2015
