Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff I travel back and forth between London quite alot and the holiday inn on Commercial road is always a the first place I choose to stay! The staff are excellent,always willing to help in anyway be it at breakfast time sorting out a coffee and croissant to go if you're in a rush,or making sure that you are adequately fed and watered at dinner time. Bally, Amalia in the restaurant and Ezter on the the front desk are particularly good at their job and make the customer feel incredibly welcome! The food is excellent,with the fish bought daily every morning from billingsgate market,and the in house Starbucks makes for good coffee any time of day. The location is perfect,20 mins walk from Liverpool st or a 3 minute walk will take you the closest dlr stop. All round,the best hotel in London that I have stayed in, if not the best hotel in England! Well done! 18 November 2014

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and the staff never fail to impress me. Be welcomed by my name as I walk through the door is absolutely first class - in fact I am starting to feel more at 'home' there than home! Well done! 12 November 2014
