Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The noise of the Melbourne Trams will get you if you're not careful! My sleep a disturbed by the chunking and clucking and screeching of the Melbourne trams outside my window. The food took over an hour, the food was soggy and the beer warm. I paid more for a suite and while the room was Ok, it wasn't worth the money I paid. I like the IHG proposition but not this hotel... 27 January 2015

Everything about the stay was perfect - the location, the price, the room and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and both check-in and check-out were easy. 27 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable hotel in great location The hotel was very easy to find - just down the road from the train station where the airport busses arrive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great - right on the free city tram line (although there were roadworks when we were there, which I believe are finished now). Easy to walk to all areas of the city. The guest laundry was very handy for us as we were travelling - a washing machine and dryer for a couple of dollars each. 27 January 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by beyond disappointed I frequently visit holiday inn hotels on my travels, and this has to be by far the worst I've visited. The only positives were the reception staff who were beyond amazing, the breakfast, and the sauna. I stayed in January with my husband, and we were disappointed. The bed was so uncomfortable, we both had a sore back after 1 night. The bathroom was so dated, and really needed a pick me up. And some of the staff members needed training in how to treat people with respect. We had an incident with a breakfast staff member who was beyond rude to my husband and I on 3 different occasions within 20 minutes. We addressed this with management and were very pleased with how it was handled. So thank you Conrad. Sadly, this wasn't our only negative. Our room was cleaned by housekeeping, and it looked very nice. Apart from the fact they had put a wet roll of toilet paper on the holder. What a surprise this was!! If it wasn't for the kind and welcoming reception staff, especially Paul, we wouldn't have wanted to stay at all. 22 January 2015
