Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall met my needs Overall we enjoyed our 1 day stay - convenient location to our destination, Miami Seaquarium. Restuarants at Bayside within walking distance. Only negatives were mosquitoes at the pool in the evening (citronella candles probably would have helped and the valets seeming to expect a tip when bringing our car around - very uncomfortable. I am of the belief that hotels should have complimentary parking for quests all the time. 19 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location to see a glimpse of Miami As an overnight stay in Miami, I think I made the right decision of choosing this hotel. Parking was right at the backdoor of the hotel. Though I paid a fee, it gave me peace of mind that my car was safe til we came back in the afternoon of the following day after taking a tour. The evening we arrived, we were able to walk to the Harbor mall in front of the hotel where a lot of action was, namely shopping, boat rentals, restaurants, loud Latin music which gave the ambiance of "la dolce vita" . Some people were even dancing salsa in the street...after all we were in Miami and what a welcome treat. We were able to book a tour of the Everglades from this hotel where we were picked up and returned. For a less than 24 hour stay we were able to see and experience Miami enough to want to visit again. All because this hotel made it possible. Our room had a view of Miami harbor, clean but just a bit smaller than the other rooms we had in this road trip. There was no free breakfast but we were given a 20% discount coupon for a restaurant adjacent to the lobby upon check in. The parking lot boys, check-in and concierge people were so accommodating. Our overall experience is excellent. 14 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay before cruise This is our second stay at Holiday Inn Port of Miami. I love the proximity to the port and the Bayside market. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Concierge gentleman who works the afternoon shift was very helpful. For the second year in a row he helped us arrange our shuttle service to the port. He was so nice and I wish I could remember his name because he deserves recognition 04 August 2014
