The indoor area housing combination of mini tropical area, indoor pool, games area and the restaurant is nice and relaxing. 17 October 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Safe for Environmentally Ill I always dread having to spend time away from home due to my Multiple Chemical Sensitivties and all the chemical hazards everywhere. In the past I've ended up sleeping in my vehicle because the hotel room was not tolerable. My experience at the Holiday Inn at 6500 Cote de Liese, Montreal, was excellent in this regard. I did not react at all to cleaning products, after requesting that only baking soda and vinegar be used. I will highly recommend your hotel to other Environmentally Ill patients. The cost of your room was very reasonable as well. 11 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value for the Money We stayed over three nights at this Holiday Inn, and were very pleased overall. We have two young kids who love to be in the water, so having a nice warm and centrally-located pool was an attractive feature, and we weren't disappointed. The lifeguard on staff the first day was especially nice, but all staff were generally good. The exercise room was surprisingly well stocked, with modern cardio and weight equipment; and the sauna was very good (and great to warm up in, after the pool). We stayed in a family suite towards the back of the hotel on the 2nd floor was the ideal size for our family of four, and was clean and modern, with a full size fridge. Also was amazed at how quiet it was, considering its proximity to the airport. I don't recall hearing a plane the whole time I was there. Negatives include a sub-mediocre breakfast buffet (the scrambled eggs were terrible), and my wife wasn't impressed with the eggs benedict she ordered off the menu. However, the restaurant itself was nice and the staff friendly. Also, the laundry room consists of exactly ONE washing machine and dryer. Fortunately we were there mid-week, so there was no problem getting the machine, but I'd think they could increase the number of machines. Finally, the hallway doors leading to the rooms (at least on the upper level) do not have an electric option, which was a bit tedious for us as we have a special needs son in a wheelchair. I trust this will be addressed as the hotel seeks to modernize further, in accordance with modern building code. However, these are minor points which did not significantly impact our stay. Overall, for what we paid, we got a great room and excellent service in a hotel that has made real strides to update its appearance while maintaining the comfortable, family-friendly feel that Holiday Inn is known for. 09 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service in Language of Choice The staff and accommodations were more than adequate. Finding rooms is a bit of a maze, but perhaps due to not reading signs properly. I enjoyed my dinner very much. There is a good menu and I had the day's special. It was yummy. Steak was cooked to perfection. Waiters were more then helpful without being over bearing. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. Some may not like the area which the hotel is in, as it is an industrial area on a highway. However, the hotel has a van and they are willing to take you to a local mall, etc. There is also airport pickup and delivery. I recommend this hotel for people requiring an overnight before catching an flight the next day. I was more than happy with the service and accommodations I had. 26 September 2014

My wife forgot her handbag and the sales and administrator officer did all that he could to mail and return the item (all intact) to us in a very timely manner. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rude staff first room the a/c did not work. called front desk said they would change rooms. Went to the front desk , heard clerk complaining about us changing rooms. Second room tv did not work.Called front desk asked how to use it. They said they would send someone to the room. No one ever came. Alot of noise from pool area late into the night. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A night in Montreal In transit from Vancouver, overnight near Montreal's P.E. Trudeau airport, then VIA Rail Dorval to Kingston, Ontario. I redeemed IHG Rewards Points for this one night stay. While I was returning from a business trip, this side trip to visit Kingston was at my own expense. Arriving mid evening, i was acknowledged as a Rewards member and upgraded to a suite on the main level, looking in at the Courtyard. Lots of space. Too bad I was just there from the night. Next morning, the airport shuttle took me to the Dorval VIA Rail station to catch the train to Kingston. (NOTE: If travelling VIA Rail Montreal - Toronto corridor, I recommend Business Class). I recommend the Holiday Inn Montreal Aeroport - an opportunity to practise your French. 16 September 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Montreal Airport My husband and I recently stayed here when arriving late one night and left before checkout the next morning. We did not eat or use any of the amenities. The two employees we encountered upon checking in and out were both very nice and checking in and out where both quick and easy. Our room was nice and clean with a king size bed (that was comfy) and a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was clean and there was shampoo and lotion from bath and body works. The one thing we didn't like about the room is that we really didn't control the temperature. We like it cold for sleeping and the thermostat only went down to a certain temperature and during the night actually shut-off. This piece (to me) is unacceptable because I think I should be able to control the temperature especially when I'm sleeping. The room was on the interior of the hotel so there was no window to open. If we could have opened a window that might have solved the problem. This hotel is not close enough to the airport to hear planes, so that is not a concern. Also, if you arrive late at the night, there restaurant is not open so there is no room service but there is a Tim Horton's close by. 11 September 2014

We stayed in one of the King Suites with a pool view on one side and courtyard view on the other side. Plenty of room. Kitchen area has only a coffee maker, sink, and microwave. Bring your own supplies if you want to use this area. I realize this area consists of largely french speaking folks, but be prepared for very limited english television. Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous and of course bilingual. On site restaurant is a wonderful atmosphere, however, we were disappointed in the variety and quality of the offerings vs. prices charged. We were so disappointed we did not eat on site again (or room service) for the remainder of our stay. My wife learned some folks got free breakfast and such depending on who you booked hotel through. We booked direct through Holiday Inn site and did not get breakfast. After our less than desirable dinner, we weren't interested in trying the breakfast offerings. 06 September 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never in my life In this journey I stayed at the hotel twice (the night from the 18th to 19th of july and 5-7th of August). In the first staying (only for a night) there weren't any problems but the second time was a nightmare. I had my reservation from the 5th to the 7th of August and everything was ok but we realized that we had to stay one night more. On the evening of the 6th of August I came to the counter and there was a person called Gina who was ALONE with a long long line, having to answer the phone and deal with the customers at the same time. I asked her if there was room to be at the hotel for one more night and she told us that there were rooms but the problem was that she was alone and she couldn't fix it up to let us stay in the same room (without having to change the room#, so she asked me to go back the following day to the counter and fix it up with the people of the morning shift. The following day I came to the counter and I was told by a person called George that there wasn't any vacancy. I complanied explaining to him that Gina had told us that there were room for us but he just told me that there weren't. He told me that Gina shouldn't have been alone at the desk as there should have been a supervisor with her because she was new and she didn't have enough permissions in the computer to see the vacancies for the following day. I came back to my room to make another reservation and I found that in the internet there was vacancy at your hotel #2 rooms#. So I made a reservation and I came down to tell the people at the counter that I had a reservation. This George assured me that there wasn't any vacancy, that it was common for the hotel to overbook it and that many times he has had to tell people at 12 in the night that there wasn't any vacancy. He told me that I would receive an e-mail #thing that never happened# cancellating my reservation and that he advised me to cancel it because, otherwise the room would be charged to my visa. I asked a claiming sheet #you seem not to have one#, I asked to talk to the supervisor, superintendent or whoever I could talk to but nobody came to explain that to me. I also told George that I couldn't understand that if you overbook rooms why was I the one to leave the hotel and why wasn't the last person to come to the hotel #In case anyone doesn't appear the hotel would have had two fares#. In the end I had to leave the hotel #having done a reservation# and go to crowne which was more expensive than what I had reserved at the Holliday Inn. In short: I don't understand how a hotel like this can have the following mistakes and all of them in me. A) A person without enough permissions in the computer is left alone in front of a long line and customers calling at the same time. What if I arrive there to stay for 2 nights? B) You offer 2 rooms in your web page when "theoretically" there wasn't any vacancy. YOUR WEB PAGE NEEDS REPROGRAMMING C# In case it is true that you usually overbook rooms, I find it awful to find an employee who confesses that it is a common practice D) In case, as it seems, you usually overbook, why you don't give the / a room to the first person with a reservation to come?. You would avoid many problems. E) there are no claiming sheets or you cannot talk to the supervisor Due to my job I have travelled a lot #it is the first time I see overbooking hotels# and the first time I found such clumsy people at a desk trying to give explanations to something I considered surrealistic All in all, I don't know if I will make any reservation at a hollday Inn because I don't want to get there and find out that I don't have a room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE I hope I am not being redundant but when Holiday Inn are fortunate enough to have employees like Sami and Jenny it is hard not to compliment. Once again I stayed for a week at your Holiday Inn. The only reason I return is because of a Manager (Sami) who really cares that his guests enjoy a wonderful and relaxing experience at his Hotel. Add an outstanding receptionist like Jenny who treats you like family and you can't help but thoroughly enjoy your stay. My only fear is because of Samis and Jennys tremendous commitment to excellence is that Holiday Inn will promote them and I will not have the pleasure of dealing with them when I stay at my favourite Hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Montreal Hotel I would certainly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone staying over or vacationing in Montreal.It is close to the airport with fast and convenient shuttle service or those traveling in their own vehicle they offer free parking during your stay.The staff are very polite and speak fluently in English, something that is not always the case in Quebec Hotels.They have a fine in house dinning room and bar however one of Montreal's finest Steak House.s is just across the street via a pedestrian over pass. 30 August 2014
