Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and helpful reception We arrived early from St Petersburg at 11.20a.m. and were offered either a standard room, as booked, or wait for an upgrade. The receptionist said it would be about 30 minutes to wait. After half an hour we went back and were given an executive room. With the early check-in we were then able to still spend most of the day seeing some of the Moscow sights without carrying extra bags. Club lounge had drinks and snacks available all day which was good, but unusually no pre-dinner drinks s most other lounges have. Having pre-paid for breakfasts we wee told we still had the choice of continental in the lounge or full buffet in the restaurant. We opted for the latter which was quite extensive and included a good choice of international or more local dishes. Some of the food could have been a bit warmer but very few buffets manage this effectively. Good location only 2 minutes from Metro entrance and 3 stops to Red Square/Kremlin area. 17 September 2014

Arriving in Moscow by train, this is hotel is the best choice because it's near a metro station near the ring route that connects all the railway stations in this town. 10 September 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Executive club?!?! Upon checked-in, receiving an upgrade to a suite room - thanks for this. Stayed for 3 nights, but could not use the Executive Club lounge from the second day onward. The hotel decided to sell the club lounge as a meeting room to a large conference group. Offered the customers like us who paid an extra amount of money for the club lounge service to use the lobby lounge. This is obviously not the same. Don't pay extra for this service. It is not worth at all as the club lounge is one of the worst I've come across, and despite of this, you may not be able to use the service you pay for since the hotel decides to make an extra money out of it. This is the second time I write the review as my first is declined by the IHG team. If my comment on your services is ignored, the reason of running a loyalty programme. 05 September 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't bother with Executive Room or Lounge This property provides the basic services, is clean and also acceptable if you only require a place to sleep and hang your clothes. However, if you are a regular user of IHG hotels do not bring your normal expectations. Having said that, the location is great. There are at least a dozen nice restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk. The Belorusskiy Metro Station, serving both the dark green radial line and the brown circular line, is also only 5 minutes away. Don't bother with the Executive Rooms or Lounge - they are a joke. Instead, get a room without breakfast and take your breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants, e.g. Paul. If you do that and can get a reasonable room rate, then this is an OK place to stay. 04 August 2014
