Comfortable room with all you need and good housekeeping, meeting facilities, fiendly staff. Perfect location in a quiet place, next to convenient shopping center Motorama and with perfect access to the city center within 7-10 minutes, especially convenient to reach S-bahn via closed gallery at rainy weather.I had really nothing to complain about. 03 September 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Value for money I checked in to Holiday Inn Munich on a Thursday, and got a room right away although it was only 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The check in process was fast and easy. The room is fine, and what you'd expect at the price you're paying. The shower in my room was a little worn out, and needs some fixing to be up to scratch. The pool is a nice place to have a swim, but not a place to sit and relax. The pool area is sterile and not cozy. The building itself is very dull and grey, but if you get a room on the right floor in the right angle, you actually get a good view of the city. The breakfast offers a wide range of choices. All in all it's good value for money. 02 September 2014

Room was big and clean, breakfast was very good with special care for Non Gluten needs. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy The location of the hotel is fine for a stay in Munich. The reception staff are good. The breakfast room staff are good. There are not enough reception staff members to deal with such a busy hotel. Lines are too long at reception. The only problem is the filling of the hotel with Middle Eastern families whose culture is so different that it makes life very uncomfortable for other guests who wish to sleep at night. The hotel is very aware of this problem. It is every summer. 27 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Average service but excellent breakfast I will start by stating that the Hotel staff is very helpful. The main problem we have experienced is the lack of phone service by hotel staff. We returned to our room to find it unlocked, left open by the cleaning staff. Moreover, we were 4 in the room and were given only 2 sets of towels. When we tried contacting the hotel staff by phone, no one answered, even after 15 minutes. The breakfast is great with a large variety of food fit for everyone needs. The hotel was very friendly providing a breakfast in a bag for our early checkout morning hour. When arriving by car, consider parking outside, not in the underground park under the Hotel. The hotel does not refund or provide any discount for it. 26 August 2014

Although I have ordered (and I have a formal conformation for this) 1 room for 2 adults plus 2 kids, while I was checked in they didn't know about it. The first night they didn't have baby bed for us so we slept all together in one bed. 2. The room was clean and comfort, however the overall Cleanliness of the hotel is quite poor (specially the floors corridors) Besides all was fine and comfort. Regards Haim 24 August 2014

The hotel is well showing "priority" for IHG member, like check-in counter and room floor, but I really did not feel the priority as "IHG Elite" . I also could not have rewards club points.(i forgot to claim, also). So I can recommend the hotel to tour package stay and IHG members for comfortable stay, but would not recommend to IHG Elite..... 23 August 2014

Staff looked overwhelmed by the amount of guests arriving. Breakfast a mess, not enough tables. IT staff great, Mr. Schiffer sorted my internet connection out. 22 August 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Double billed We reserved this room with our Holiday Inn reward points, yet a room charge is on our credit card. At checkout we were told that since our room was paid for with reward points, and we owed nothing, there was no paper receipt. While emails to the hotel have gone unanswered, Holiday inn rewards customer service, confirmed we were actually billed for a room, and is currently requesting a correction / credit from the hotel. Otherwise, very convenient hotel, in same complex as train, and our room had great view of the city. Before our arrival the reservation specialist was very helpful. 21 August 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Problematisch Personal gut eingestellt, aber nicht aufgestellt. Am Wochenende z.T. nur eine Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, Wartezeiten bis zu 30 Min. Beim teuren Frühstücksbuffet am Wochenende trotz zweier lächelnder Köche kein Omelette möglich, nur vertrocknende Spiegeleier. Nur schwer zu ertragen sind Hotelgäste aus dem nahen Osten in großer Zahl, die in der Eingangslounge nackte Füße auf die Beistelltische legen, vom Hotelpersonal toleriert, mit kinderreichen Familien, die eine Nachtruhe auch weit nach Mitternacht nicht kennen. 19 August 2014

Verkehr perfekt direkt "im Haus", Autobahn akzeptabel) und bietet ein Parking zu durchschnittlichem Preis. Das Zimmer könnte renoviert werden. Fenster sind nur zu kippen und nicht vollständig zu öffnen. Da das Hotel während meines Aufenthaltes von mehreren ausländischen Reisegruppen besucht war kam es zu sehr hoher Geräuschbelästigung ausserhalb des Zimmers und es war in den öffentlichen Bereichen fast übervoll... Alles in allem suche ich nächstes Mal ein anderes Hotel in München und nehme weitere Wege oder eine andere Hotelkette in Anspruch. Vorsicht: sehr teures Frühstück! 18 August 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The worst hotel I ever stayed in Unfortunately, II faced several issues started from; 1-the welcome as IHG gold members where they show unrespect to the family by offering only drink for the member only? What a management. 2-calling the front desk for more than 18 minutes without answering where I got two different excuses one we are busy the other answer we have a telephone system issue. What a management. 3- keep blocking amounts to my credit card with none realistic excuses like we face poor customers who running without paying which I cannot believe. 4-Wrong information about my room rate. 5- No bellboy services in the hotel. 6- No one answers the calls either reception or front disk. My advise to any traveler not to stay in this hotel what so ever. 18 August 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, reasonable prices. -The hotel is very well located - in the very same building with S-bahn and U-bahn stations, close to Deutsch Museum, etc. -The standard room is small. -The width of the beds is unacceptable small. (For a well known hotel network like yours the bed width should be at least 1.60m (or 2x80 cm.) -A better implementation of non-smoking areas would be recommended. 15 August 2014

Took several calls until front desk answered.phone when needing assistance. No one at baggage storage to give me my luggage. Almost missed my train after waiting 30 minutes to retrieve. Frustrating stay. Staff was courteous but completely in over their head. 15 August 2014

Still on our last day internet connection fell down, we had to wait more than 1hr, much far away than the 20mins promise that the management promises to solve all problems. we ate twice at your restaurant. On one ocasion we ordered salmon. The food was good but the portion i believe was less than 150 grams at a price of €16.95 ! 02 August 2014

Lobby-Rezeption ist für Check-In/Out viel zu klein und unübersichtlich, da mit Bar, Konferenzbereich und Restaurant direkt verbunden. Zimmer leider etwas klein um sich länger wohlzufühlen. 30 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Munich City Center Hotel While from the outside the hotel does not appear to be the most modern in the world the inside is a whole different story. Even though there were quite a number of arrivals at the same time I arrived my check-in was quick and easy aided by my IHG preferred check-in ability. The room was really superb. Very clean and well thought out. Slept very well, too. The lobby and other common areas were spotless and pleasant even though the hotel seemed to have a pretty full house. And, the staff was very friendly and professional. Really a very pleasant stay. 30 July 2014
