A really nice hotel, close to Muscat airport. Very friendly and competent staff. Very nice catering. Good gymnasium and small but adequate pool.
Main issue was with aircraft noise. Being close to the airport this is probably inevitable. On subsequent stays at the hotel I wore ear plugs and this helped to counteract the noise.

An excellent, friendly business hotel close to the airport. Rooms and staff are wonderful so I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Seeb and I enjoyed every stay in the past. My last stay however was not that impressive. Too noisy (planes in particular), plus Alarm in the middle of the night.
Maybe I was just unfortunate, and that is why I am not dropping it from my list yet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Halkett Clean and modern with good service. A little bland.
I've stayed here twice now. The second time was for two weeks. It is a nice hotel, relatively new and kept very clean. Rooms are a good size with a nice shower room. Staff service and the food is good with each meal a buffet with a good selection. There is also a separate cafe. It has a nice pool, a good gym and free WiFi everywhere.
It's about 15 minutes in a taxi to the centre of Muscat, but it is near the airport and there are two shopping malls nearby including one with a large Carrefour and a food court if you want something else to eat.
The place always appears quiet, sometimes you feel like the only guest, especially at weekends. It's dry to, although they are waiting on a license.
I would recommend it for short business stays of up to a week beyond that it's to dull.
It feels like it has great potential but just in the wrong place.
They could improve the TV channels in the room, maybe add pay movies, and consider putting Sky sports or similar on the TV in the cafe, no sound just have it on with subtitles. Some shade over the cafe terrace would help, it's to exposed.
The place needs something to liven it up. 'Good but a little bland' would be one way of describing it.
Since my stay they are upgrading the room TVs and have added a TV to the cafe.
