Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Good Job, eh!
When we walked up to the hotel, I was so happy to see the front hang-over that said "HOLIDAY INN" lite up in green. I recognized it from the picture on the internet so I right away felt good we'd found the right place. Also the lady I booked with who was in the Philippines (I think) was wonderful, she really made me want to book; and I could clearly understand her.
The only things I didn't like was the quality of the shampoo and conditioner, so I was very glad I packed some travel bottles with me. There should have been 2 bars of soap, 1 for the sink and 1 for the shower. And the towels weren't the newest looking but just okay. I was pleased the pillows weren't gigantic like some hotels I've been in, they were of appropriate size. The staff member in the hallway was friendly when I said hello, he smiled back. The staff at the front desk were professional and helpful and considering the location we got good value for our money. My brother and I had to share a king bed because there were no double beds left but he was excited over the city view being on the 20th floor so it turned out well I guess.

Hotel staff were very accommodating similar to my experience with other Holiday Inn hotels.
Internet was a bit slow though.

The staff at this location is top notch. They are very friendly and accommodating. We chose to stay here for the weekend due to brand recognition and close to SOHO. The room is very small compared to other Holiday Inn locations and the bathroom is even tinier. You felt very cramped if you closed the bathroom door after showering. We were up on the 26th floor and saw a wonderful view of the Empire State Building lit up at night. The night skyline is always amazing at night. The room is a bit pricey for what you get but all the hotels are pricey in Manhattan. Other than the size of the room and bathroom, we had a wonderful stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Granny528 Clean, modern rooms, comfortable beds and good food.
The hotel was very clean, modernized and in mint condition. Hotel service was timely and efficient on all levels. The Hotel is centrally located to numerous New York attractions, shopping, and food including Penn Station. The Hotel Café was awesome and the food was very good. It was well worth the cost of staying at the Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave. -Chelsea. We will stay there again.

i spend at least 2 nights a week away in hotels and i can say that this hotel is best i have ever stayed in. the only negative i can think of is that it hasnt got a swin=mming pool, but i understand that would be hard due to the location of the hotel.
i will be staying their again.
