Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Major mould issues in bathroom, but nice otherwise Serious mould problems in our room. The shower curtain was on backwards, so the part that unsnap sand gets laundered by housekeeping was on the OUTSIDE (dry side) and the "pretty side" was on the inside, getting wet repeatedly and never really drying. This caused pink and black mould to grow on it (gross! I took pictures of it in case management wants to see). Also there was black and pink mould growing between the tiles on the wall, and the entire bottom 6" of the wood cabinet next to the tub had rotted and was mouldy. (See pictures). We would not return because of the mould, although the staff was friendly. Our room was a "handicapped" room, so we don't know if ALL rooms had mould problems, or just ours. July 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location The hotel "does what it says on the tin." It is conveniently situated in Jesmond and has good car parking which is a very rare commodity in the area. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the complimentary items in the fridge are a nice touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is always very good. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay in a vibrant area of Newcastle. July 26, 2015
