Noise level totally unacceptable, my daughter had a university interview the next day and neither of us got a wink of sleep. On the other hand staff were very friendly and able to recommend where to go to eat in central Newcastle - order me cabs etc Rooms were very clean and modern but the lighting dull in the bathroom and it was hard to put on make-up due to this.

I stayed here on the 15th January 2015 due to being in the area for business.
I was greeted warmly on arrival by the reception staff and check in was painless.
I entered my room and found it to be of the high standard that I have come to expect from other stays in Holiday Inns.
All in all a very good hotel and I have booked to stay there again in March when I am again in the area for business

My Stay at the holiday inn was very pleasant and have stayed at this hotel and will be back,very clean happened to bump into the cleaning lady she was so polite and helpful

Clean and fresh, friendly attentive staff, good restaurant, delightfull rooms. My experience was one of a top flight hotel with no down sides.

Poor front desk service. Our room was not serviced on either day of our 3 day stay. The water pressure in our shower was feeble in the mornings. Our complaints were argued over rather than being acknowledged and dealt with. We left feeling that this hotel was not up to the usual HI standard.
