Brilliant in every way, bar the really noisy air conditioning unit, that did not even work well, so the room was really muggy.

There was minimal plugs in a room with 2 double beds. I don't know how anyone expects to have 4 people in one room with 2 plugs in this day and age. As a reuptable, modern company, especially when this is used for leisure, people will be brining devices such as Ipads, phones. Nobody can charge anything! I can't fault the reception staff, they were fantastic and really efficient. They recognised we were IHG platinum card holders and treatd us accordingly. I wish I could say the same for the bar staff, they were in no hurry to serve anyone at the bar and considering there were 2 bar staff available, you'd expect them both to be serving with 7 people at the bar instead of one of them moping around. I'd also ensure your staff are tought some lessons on how to be polite as it seemed we were bothering them by just asking fror a different glass. Overall the stay was okay and the reception area was lovely. It seemed to be the best part of the stay. The rooms were far too outdated for the company and the eye sore that's supposed to be air conditioning needs to go, it's noisy and looks disgusting. The bathroom also needs a massive revamp, the shower was nowhere near as powerful as expected. I'd assume a MIRA would be better! The towels were great and the tea/coffee/ice bucket etc facilities upon arrival were great. Alot of work needs done around your bar staff and interior. The rooms need massively revamped. This has potential to be an even better hotel. Come on holiday inn!

- Not received as a Club Member. -
Couldn't use the restaurant cos a party had been booked and took up a third of the space. This apparently stopped all dinners being served and only room service was available so had to hastily arrange meeting and dinner elsewhere. This was not indicated upon booking 3 weeks before. - like they didn't know - huh. -
Staff had the attitude of couldn't care less as long as we have your money. -
I will say though the Breakfast was great - only trouble is it costs £9.00.
