I've Just started a new contract in Northampton and I thought I would check out a few of the hotels in the Northampton area before selecting my base. On checking in as a Spire Elite Member gained by staying from the other excellent Holiday Inn hotels around the country I was told the computer has put me down as a Basic member. Even if I was just starting out as a new member of the IHG rewards scheme it would have been better to acknowledge guests aa club members ? No mention on check in where the restaurant was or any mention of breakfast. I did get a top floor room which was clean and a bit dated apart from the bathroom which was good quality. The WIFI didn't work for me so this will be one of the main reasons why I wont be staying there again as I do need internet access for my Job. I did manage to get to sleep about 11 but was awoken by a couple arguing in the corridor about 1am this went on for 15 to 20 minutes then at 3am there was a lady banging on the door opposite my room trying to get inside her room this went on for 30 minutes then I could hear the lift going up
and down for 10 minutes then another 15 minutes of banging on the door before I finally got dressed and went out to see what was going on. I found the night porter outside the room he told me the couple were drunk and he had left there door on the latch so they wouldn't disturb the guests.
Location and room cleanliness were the best part of the stay but I do need sleep when I have work the next day.
Sorry to say I wont be staying at this property again

The room was ok, a bit dated and not value for money.
The staff were friendly but not helpful
I am sorry to say I would not recommend eating here, the breakfast was pretty for poor.
It was ok for a night stay, any longer would be questionable.

ALWAYS ENJOY OUR STAYS AT THIS HOTEL. WE HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE OUR STAYS EXCELLENT.
