Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel We only stayed one night, but found this hotel to be very good in every way, and would definitely stay again should we be in this area. It is set in a very quiet situation. Also, there is a lovely indoor swimming pool. We did not have dinner here, although the restaurant looked very good but breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. My only other comment is, if you have a problem with stairs ask for a first floor room as there is no elevator to the second floor.. 04 December 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service in Restaurant and ihg points not rewarded I am an ihg platinum member and therefore requested the free points at check in, this was not rewarded even though the receptionist told me she would add them to my account. When i went to the restaurant for my evening meal i had an offer of 1000 points for eating in the restaurant, the staff had no clue about this even though i showed them the message i had on my phone from the ihg app, i was then told the 1000 would be added to my account again this hasnt been done. I ordered a drink while i looked at the menu in the restaurant i had to wait 45 mins for this and also i took over 20 minutes for the staff to come over and take my order for food and the restaurant wasnt even busy. in the morning when i went for breakfast i was shown to my table and requested a coffee, again i had to go chase up the waitress after 15 minutes. I have stayed at a number of holiday inns in the past but i have to say the service in the restaurant in this holiday inn is the worst i have ever experienced, it was really bad and i am disappointed i have missed out on 1500 ihg points too. 03 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Service I experinced good service from the staff at the hotel. The bar menu has recently been change and it is not to my liking, however having said that the quality of the food is good. You cant please all of the people all of the time unfortunately. 28 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by beds are good but I prefer a very thin pillow. When at home I have a very thin pillow due to having neck and back problems so the pillows are usually to thick for me and uncomfortable so I don't sleep to well. 25 November 2014
